good morning everybody! you guys must remember cutie pie blake lewis - who was runner-up to last year's american idol winner jordin sparks - although i do love ms. sparks (who has done quite well for herself) i actually voted for mr. lewis - his debut album audio day dream was quite decent - sadly it wasn't a huge hit and i believe he's without a record label at the moment but blake recently lent his voice to finnish trance man and DJ darude who produced an excellent cover of a flock of seagulls' track i ran (so far away) which you can listen to yourself below (i needed something upbeat to make it through monday morning - you can buy remixes of the song over on itunes) hopefully we'll be hearing more from mr. lewis in the future - it does sound like he has a few projects in the works! popbytes over & out for now...xoxo

I love Blake! His album was pretty solid. I'm not sure how I feel about the new collaboration yet, but I do love anything new he does! It was unfortunate that his album bombed, especially after putting out something that was really his own sound.
