UPDATE! OH MY WORD!!! i had the best time tonight - i can't even tell you - the ladies were amazing - when they all get their harmony on - it's pure musical magic! plus i had the pleasure to meet michelle phillips (mom to chynna phillips) who is a huge legend in her own right - she was in the mamas & papas - one of my all-time favorite bands - she looked great and was so very nice - we even exchanged business cards - hopefully i'll be interviewing her soon for popbytes! i also got to meet billy baldwin (husband of chynna phillips) who actually bummed a smoke from me - he's still looking great - and when i told him 'i love wilson phillips' - he quickly responded 'you'll probably never love wilson phillips the way i do' - and he's right! mr. baldwin was dancing the entire time with his kids - it was a really sweet scene! last but not least - i ran into someone i met a number of years ago - a big hello goes out to dawn - that's the funny thing about life - you never know who you'll run into at any given moment! i'm so glad i went tonight - of course for their last song they did hold on which was incredible - i was in complete pop ecstasy! popbytes over & out for tonight...xoxo (oh lordy - the thought of monday morning right now totally kills me - ugh!)
good evening! tonight i'm heading to club nokia downtown to see one of my top guilty pleasure bands of all-time - a trio of gals better known as wilson phillips! although i'm a little bummed i'll be missing the american music awards airing tonight over on ABC - i couldn't resist passing up the chance to finally see the ladies play live (i will just tivo the AMAs) i'll be in total heaven when they play hold on - one of my favorite songs ever and topped the charts back in june of 1990 - that's like almost twenty years ago - yikes! good morning! it looks like miley cyrus' boyfriend model justin gaston was working overtime last night - he took his shirt off and strutted down the runway at crystal rock's 'sweet sixteen' party - thrown by her dad christian audigier (probably best known for his ed hardy clothing line) the party took place right down the block from me at the new kress nightclub - everything was filmed for MTV's guilty pleasure show my sweet sixteen - also in the house last night was a newly single paris hilton (she might be taking a break from benji madden but i doubt they'll resume their relationship...) and her sister nicky hilton - plus it looks like khloe kardashian enjoyed herself - i'd enjoy myself too if i was standing next to mr. gaston - he's so damn hot - his body is freakin' amazing - damn! although it's quite bizarre he's twenty and dating miley who just turned sixteen - her birthday is actually today - november 23rd - i know exactly what i'd ask justin to give me for my special day! popbytes over & out for now...xoxo
