hey hey! i’m beyond thrilled that one week from today is election day (tuesday november 4th) after what seems like forever – this presidential election is finally ready to be wrapped up – of course i’m betting barack obama will thankfully be our next president (i know michelle obama is going to make a fierce first lady) but please make sure to vote – i’ve already mailed off my ballot since i live in some odd zone in hollywood that has no polling place (although there’s one right across the street yet i can’t vote there – it makes no sense at all) i feel a drop bad for barack since he’ll be entering the white house with a huge pre-made mess on his hands (from the shitty economy to the seemingly endless war over in iraq)
hopefully over the next four years we’ll become a better & stronger country – i’m really trying to be positive in the moment – usually i’m a total negative nelly but i’ve noticed a positive & upbeat attitude does tend to help keep me from going completely insane or sinking into deep depression! below is a picture of new cabbage patch kids made in the likeness of the democratic & republican nominees – my gosh – remember back in the 80′s how hot those dolls were?!? (i never had one but i LOVED garbage pail kids) they’re being auctioned off over on ebay to benefit toys for tots plus the auction coincides with the cabbage patch kids’ 25th anniversary! popbytes over & out for now…xoxo
