UPDATE! oh my goodness - tina turner put on an EXCELLENT show this evening (this is her first tour in eight years!) the woman has legs of steel and her voice still sounds so damn impeccable - her powerful energy is simply amazing & infectious - there's no other way to put it! (however i wish more people were dancing around me - there was a bunch of old foggies sitting right by me - i was all come on...get up and dance bitches!) thankfully she did sing we don't need another hero and totally got all dressed up in mad max garb complete with a blonde wig! by the time she did her anthem proud mary towards the end - thankfully most people were up on their feet - it was a total hands up moment! (if you happen to have tickets to any of tina's remaining shows - you're in for a huge treat) i feel so very blessed to have seen a legend like ms. turner - she's showing absolutely no signs of slowing down - i say more power to her - long live tina! i can only hope & pray to move like tina turner does when i'm almost 70 years old! popbytes over & out for tonight...xoxo

hey hey! oh i bought my tickets months ago to see tina turner live in concert and tonight her show finally lands here in los angeles (there's a small bit of video from the tour's opening night held in kansas city) i'm totally beside myself with pure excitement (a.k.a. freaking out but in a good way!) i've never seen her live before but i've always wanted to - this is a total dream come true for me - we all know what a true music legend ms. turner is - plus she's about to turn 69 and is still doing her thing - ms. turner's energetic youthfulness completely blows my mind!
