UPDATE! oh my goodness - i just got home not too long ago - i did have an excellent time - ms. jackson was incredible live and i did dance my ass off (along w/ janet) as planned but there was one major lull in the show towards the end that nearly put me to sleep (during the song 'discipline') but other than that small boring bump in the road everything else was stellar (except janet didn't change her hair...only her costumes - probably 5-6x) anyone who has tickets to her remaining 'rock withchu' shows is totally in for a treat! i'm so freakin' tired right now - i'm not even thinking straight - i seriously need to go to bed since tomorrow is a work day...oh good times! popbytes over & out for tonight - long live janet jackson - xoxo
good evening y'all! i'm seriously about to burst with excitement right now...tonight janet jackson is playing downtown at staples center (the rock witchu tour - her first tour in seven years in support of her 10th studio album discipline!) i bought my tickets months ago and i can't believe it's finally here! i've never seen ms. jackson in concert which is a total shame since i'm a huge fan - i've been playing all of her albums like a crazy person over the past few days (especially 1986's control & 1993's janet.) reviews have been very decent for her brand new tour (her 5th one!) which kicked off last week on september 10th up in vancouver (there's some pictures below from that show) thankfully she'll be playing all of her big hits and then some (the setlist is like over 35 songs - woo hoo!) of course i will be twittering as much as possible and when i get back home tonight i'll toss up some quick thoughts about the show! popbytes over & out for now...xoxo
