good morning everyone! a few weeks ago i was clued in on london based band stricken city (join them on myspace) and their song tak o tak which totally got stuck in my head – the indie-pop band’s incredibly talented lead singer rebekah raa (pictured below in a fabulous headress she designed herself) is adorably quirky and her voice reminds me a drop of björk and karen o. – please have a listen to their catchy single (the audio and video is posted below) and if you head over to their website you can download an EP album for free – many thanks go out to david from adventures close to home for first tipping me off about the band – they’ve already played a number of shows in london – i’m hoping they make it to los angeles – i bet they put on a great live show (i love ms. raa’s eccentric dancing style which you’ll see in the video – she’s seriously someone to keep our eyes on) popbytes over & out for now…xxoo
