IT'S SNOWING! (IN AMY WINEHOUSE'S NOSE)

oh lordy - tonight my internet was down for a bit and of course i was losing my mind but i do have a new favorite reality show now - greatest american dog which premiered earlier this evening and i loved it! i'm all about laura and her adorable dog preston - plus commercials were airing for the 10th season premiere of big brother - the best reality show ever - i can't wait!

right now i've got new pics of amy winehouse doing what she seems to do best these days - drugs - big surprise! (although that might not be cocaine up her nose yet sadly it probably is...) she was spotted leaving the monarch bar in camden where she was apparently DJing (and partying) for a bit - she tried to cover herself from the paparazzi with a piece of cardboard (with blake's heart nested in her hair) while her super large bodyguard was holding an old lamp - what a crazy ass scene! i hate to say this but i don't see any hope at the moment for ms. winehouse - she's just getting worse and looks like crap - it's so tragic - girlfriend is squandering her immense talent & new found fame - nobody can help amy until she's willing to help herself and who knows when that will be! popbytes over & out for tonight...xxoo

BEYONCE WOULDN'T APPROVE OF THIS...

oh good evening boys & girls! i'm thrilled today is drawing to a close - it was just one of those ugh days - and thank heavens tomorrow is friday (i'm doing something pretty cool tomorrow afternoon which i'll be filling you all in on soon!) anyways as i was leaving work tonight i noticed something was going down on hollywood blvd but i couldn't quite tell what it was - now i know and i don't think beyonce would be pleased about it...right next to the grauman's chinese theatre a brand new $55 million dollar madame tussauds wax museum is being built (i've kept a close eye on its progress since i work right across the street - it's due to open next spring) and tonight was the official announcement with LA mayor antonio villaraigosa overseeing the ceremony where two new wax figures were unveiled - beyonce and jamie foxx - i do love ms. knowles (who has been keeping a low profile lately) but her waxy doppelganger is awful - the hair looks so cheap - i don't like her armpit pose at all - it's just all around wrong - somebody must agree with me?!?

if someone wanted to make my likeness out of wax - i would totally need to have final approval! i think beyonce needs to get on the horn with the madame of wax! having the museum on the block will be nice - before it was just an ugly parking lot - hollywood blvd has come so far since i've lived here - it's a lot less shady! popbytes over & out for now...xxoo

CARLY SIMON VS ROLLING STONES - MASHUP!

good morning! i am in love with this week's mashup selection from DJ paul v. which uses one of my favorite songs of all-time (in fact i just bought it last week to toss on my ipod) carly simon's 'you're so vain' - who doesn't like that song?!? anyways i'm a wee bit tired from last night's natasha bedingfield concert - she was amazing live - i had a splendid time and met a bunch of cool people - now i just need to deal with today - ugh! popbytes over & out for now...xxoo

This week's mash has a bit of a backstory to it. See, back in 1972, singer Carly Simon had a number one hit with 'You're So Vain.' After bedding celebs of the era like Warren Beatty, Kris Kristofferson and Mick Jagger, there's still speculation to this day as to which self-absorbed ex-lover is the subject of the bitch-slap lyrics. And Carly adamantly says she probably won't ever reveal who it actually is. Well, most fingers tend to point to Jagger (nearly Simon's doppleganger then with those rubber lips and long brown hair), and it's imagined in song by the prolific and always-intriguing Go Home Productions, who comes out of semi-mashup-retirement with a new batch of tunes dubbed 'Spliced Krispies' that are mainly dipped in the late 70's rock era.
