i totally knew something like this was bound to happen – my dear lovely singer/songwriter lily allen has been hanging out in los angeles for the past few weeks – and i had a feeling i’d run into her at some point (since you simply can’t miss her adorable pink hair that she’s rocking at the moment) so just a little while ago i was driving north on fairfax avenue – and there she is getting into her red mini-cooper – i honked – she waved and smiled – then a few minutes later she pulled up right behind me – i kinda stuck my head out the window and was all ‘i love you lily!!!’ she smiled and as our cars parted separate ways (fairfax & santa monica blvd) she even waved goodbye – i also wanted to scream that one blogger in particular who has been harping on her (he shall remain nameless…) is a complete asshole – nobody puts ms. allen in the corner plus i find lily to be way more appealing than katy perry (also on capitol records) who hasn’t quite clicked with me yet – i don’t get all the buzz over her! oh i hope to run into lily again before she heads home to london (the pictures below are from last week when ms. allen was picking up some coffee) popbytes over & out for now…xxoo
