oh my word – please tell me that someone else out there knows who madame is?!? she’s this crazy ass super sassy famous puppet – who even had her own hilarious campy show back in the ’80s called madame’s place (the opening of the show is embedded below and features a very young corey feldman) apparently girlfriend got a new ‘handler’ after 15 years of total silence named joe kovacs and is now starring in show in NYC called madame…off the wagon which is playing at dillon’s in the reprise room! (her creator wayland flowers sadly passed away back in 1988) holy cow – i feel like i need to get on a plane at this very moment to witness her comeback in person – madame drives me completely wild – she’s the best and a legendary diva in the world of puppets – welcome back girl! popbytes over & out for tonight…xxoo

    I love Madame! I remember her and Wayland being on just about every TV show when I was a kid. So glad she’s back…and I see she got herself one hot hunk of a handler. I wouldn’t mind having him put his hands in all the right places.

    yes i remember Madam. You have to at least be in your early to mid 30′s to remember her. She was the first Sassy Bitch on t.v. that I remember and influences “too-much-plastic surgery” victims everywhere today.

    Oh I’m so excited someone has returned Madame back to ths stage!! When her creator died, I felt bad for all of those who would never experience a cultural icon. Some things are never meant to die…now someone revive lambchop!!

    I LOVE MADAM! SHE IS SUCH AN ICON. I never missed an episode of Madame’s Place (I think I was like 9 years), she was the orginal bitch, Joan Rivers so tries to be like Madame. Madame and her new handler were guests at a Mao Magazine Pre-Fashion Week Party a few years back and I took a photo with my cell (unfortunately, the damn cell broke and I lost the pic) but i iwll never forget Madame.
