good evening! if legendary pop icon marilyn monroe were alive today she would have just celebrated her 82nd birthday on june 1st (sadly she died in 1962 at the young age of 36) and i bet she’d probably be best friends with 76-year-old elizabeth taylor (the two did meet but only a couple of times) but we’ll never know what might have happened to marilyn – one photographer andrzej dragan took a stab at what ms. monroe might have looked like in her twilight years which you’ll find posted below – i know this might sound a little harsh but there are people who i feel were simply destined to shine super bright (like marilyn) and burn out early before their time (kurt cobain, james dean, janis joplin, jim morrison, and yup – even anna nicole smith to name just a few…) i hope my darling amy winehouse isn’t in that category but i get a sinking feeling she’s headed for complete disaster (i.e. death) ms. winehouse was hospitalized today after passing out – i’m always worried about her – i pray everyday she’ll somehow manage to get her shit together! popbytes over & out for now…xxoo
