hey hey! i made it to boston safe and sound without any major drama - it's a bit colder than in los angeles but that's a total welcome change since it has been a heat wave in southern california! anyways i'm pretty much running on empty at this point - i didn't get much sleep last night and sleeping on the plane never quite works out for me (i ended up watching maude on DVD) anyways i wanted to bring you a fun pop item - below is the promo poster for the upcoming MTV movie awards (taking place on sunday june 1st) which are being hosted by funny man mike myers (who is also starring in the upcoming flick the love guru along w/ jessica alba) plus there's two shots of mr. myers in his 'buff suit' standing next to lindsay lohan (i might be live blogging from the event like i did last year - stay tuned) i hope everyone is enjoying their weekend - i promise to check back in when i can! popbytes over & out for tonight...xxoo
oh my gosh it's like 3:30am and i'm about to leave for the airport but i had to post this very disturbing video that amy winehouse and her partner in crack crime pete doherty (who was recently let out of prison) posted to youtube yesterday afternoon - it's pure drug fueled insanity - amy & pete are totally high - acting like loons - and playing w/ a bunch of baby mice (hence the whole 'winemouse' video title) all while rockin' horribly filthy fingernails - they both look so cracked out (get a look at 'em out the other night below - yikes!) it's so sad to see such incredible talent go down this path - yes it's fun to get your party on now & again whether it be drinking or smoking a little pot (never with crack though) but ms. winehouse has totally crossed the line - i feel like she's past the point of no return which makes terribly sad...
gosh when her record label sees her in situations like the one below they must be totally shitting themselves...five-time grammy winner making crack fueled videos playing with baby mice (who knows what they did to those mice - i fear something terrible may have happened to them) i don't know who can save her? someone needs to try and help - if things keep going like they are - she'll be dead by the next grammy ceremony! sorry to leave on such a depressing note but the whole situation just kills me - it's completely tragic :( ok i'll soon be checking you from the east coast - popbytes over & out for now...xxoo
