DUFFY RELEASES 'ROCKFERRY' IN THE US!

oh my gosh - today is duffy's big day here in the states - her incredible debut album rockferry is officially on sale here in the US! (just last week i picked up a vinyl copy of the album - although i don't have a record player - i'm addicted to collecting vinyl - especially 45s) i first posted about the welsh soul singer back at the end of january upon discovery of her kick-ass single mercy - and it has been popping up in all sorts of places (the hills, women's murder club) duffy was celebrating her stateside release today at the times square virgin megastore where she signed copies of her album and also performed! i can't wait until she finally does her first los angeles show - i'd like to vote for the roxy to be her first LA venue - hands down the best small venue in town! popbytes over & out for tonight - long live duffy - xxoo

hey hey! is anybody else besides me excited for the upcoming film wanted (releasing june 27th) starring angelina jolie and cutie scot james mcavoy? (i posted the trailer back in march) i love seeing ms. jolie starring in action flicks and i became a huge fan of mr. mcavoy's after seeing him in atonement (which in my humble opinion should have nabbed the oscar for 'best picture' over no country for old men) the latest issue of mean magazine is featuring james on the cover under the sheets which you'll find below along with a few other inside pics plus there's a video that was shot in conjunction with the cover called 'the dream' - gosh he's adorable! popbytes over & out for now...xxoo

good morning everyone! last week UK tabloid magazine closer had victoria beckham pegged as being pregnant with her fourth child - and this week two of her fellow spice girls join her on the cover this week with the forecast of a 'spice baby boom' - again they're claiming posh is eating for two - melanie b supposedly picked up a pregnancy test - and geri halliwell is seeking a 'happy accident' after dating her new dancer boyfriend ivan 'flipz' velez for just eight weeks! it is kind of odd they're featuring posh two weeks in a row...maybe there really is something to the rumors? we'll have to be on beckham baby bump watch for the next few weeks! popbytes over & out for now...xxoo
