good evening! this week’s national enquirer has one of those cover stories everyone loves – hollywood stars and their imperfections – this time the culprit is ‘cellulite’ – recently striking big-time up inside 22-year old mischa barton‘s legs who was seriously not pleased when photographers snapped shots of her ‘cottage cheese’ – she’s the youngest ‘victim’ featured – the ‘guess who?’ on the left is ‘hot tranny mess’ actress phoebe price who was photographed earlier today in hollywood proudly holding up the magazine (check ‘em out over on dlisted – he’s all about ms. price!) i’ve never seen anybody so desperate for attention – you almost start to feel bad for phoebe – everyday there are pics of her out & about usually trolling on robertson blvd – she’s addicted to being in any spotlight available! i’ve never done a post on ms. price here on popbytes but i think i feel one coming on soon…anyways inside there’s also details about mariah carey‘s surprise wedding to nick cannon – actually about a month ago the enquirer was the first outlet to break word of their secret romance – everyone always knocks this publication but more than a few times they’ve nailed it dead on! popbytes over & out for now…xxoo

good evening! if you live for drama then this week’s national enquirer is right up your alley – drama & scandal is splashed all over the cover – i don’t know what to start off with so first we’ll go front & center with oprah winfrey dissing TV chef rachael ray – oprah supposedly exploded after ms. ray cursed at her and now there’s apparently bad blood between the two ladies…nobody wants to be on oprah’s bad side – tom cruise included! i’m very curious to see what transpires between the two this time around (the first part airs this friday may 2nd) i don’t think it’ll help his public image at all yet i could be wrong!



moving on there’s major drama at the top for whitney houston‘s daughter bobbi kristina (age 15) who the magazine claims attempted to commit suicide and was hospitalized after slitting her wrists – oh hell to the no! i haven’t seen much of that girl recently (actually here she is being messy not that long ago) but when she was on being bobby brown she definitely seemed headed down a questionable path – i hope girlfriend is ok – growing up with all the mess of whitney/bobby around must have not been easy! i’m anxiously awaiting to see if ms. houston’s comeback will be a success…the music scene has changed so much since whitney was on top – she’s going to need to nail her first new single!



it looks like kirstie alley hasn’t been staying in touch with her pal jenny craig – she’s dumped her diet and has been packing on the pounds – oh my gosh – even her ankles are fat! (that little call out is too funny) like i’ve said before here on many occasions – i love ms. alley – i think she’s totally hilarious and a great comedic actress – i’d love to see her get more work – fat or not!



on the ‘old people gone wild scene’ there’s actor peter falk who had some kind of ‘public breakdown’ – even the cops were called! gosh that’s my worst fear being old AND crazy! (right now no old person can top prince frederick von anhalt (hubby to zsa zsa gabor) that guy is way out of control) there’s also angelina jolie with her drug past coming back to haunt her – hell we all did things in our past that we’re not proud of…if she was caught doing heroin now that would be a whole different story! popbytes over & out for now…xxoo!

good evening! as a die hard supporter of hillary clinton i’m thrilled she won pennsylvania yesterday – just when you think she might be counted out – she manages to pull off important big state wins! (i am not claiming that she is perfect on any level – all politicians are on the shady side…) however i’m growing seriously tired of the competition between her and barack obama…hopefully they’ll have the nomination figured out in a few weeks! good evening y’all! below is the latest cover of national enquirer featuring an entire article on hollywood’s deadliest diets – which can often have dire consequences like heart attacks, kidney failure, diabetes, and strokes – not good times! thankfully i’ve never had to go on a diet (in fact people always tell me to eat up but i like being skinny and i’ve always been this way – so whatever) but i can imagine losing weight can be a difficult thing to deal with – i’m not overly educated on all the ins & outs of dieting but it seems to me that a good diet consists of eating properly with the right foods and small portions, plus exercise! (easier said than done i know) shady surgeries and/or strange pills don’t appear to be the answer but the pressure can be intense in hollywood to stay thin and look your best! we’ve also got drama for dr. phil mcgraw again who is supposedly begging his wife to him back after he was caught lying & cheating – the past few months certainly have not been good for phil! last but not least more sad news about patrick swayze who is still battling cancer but is doing all he can to fight the deadly disease – please keep him in your thoughts and prayers! popbytes over & out for now…xxoo!



PS the guess who on the left is UK singer beth ditto who fronts the band gossip (quite popular over in the UK) they totally kick-ass (and were featured in a mashup of the week here on popbytes – one of my faves!) hopefully she isn’t really eating a whole bucket of fried chicken and two cartons of ice cream for dinner – that can’t be healthy! (although i freakin’ love fried chicken – it would pain me to stay away from its greasy (and salty) goodness!)

good evening! oh it has been a heck of a day – i can’t deal! yesterday the engine light came on in my car so i immediately took it into the shop and now it turns out ‘something’ is wrong with my transmission (probably the worst case scenario) it’s getting fixed right now but gosh i hate dealing with car drama – i can’t even change a tire! that’s one great thing about NYC – no need to have a car but unfortunately you really can’t get away with not having a car here in sunny los angeles! i’m hoping once it’s fixed that my car will hold out for at least a few more years – i just finished paying it off and i don’t want to have another monthly car payment anytime soon! (although i’d kill to pick up a porsche but that’s not going to happen – at least not right now!)



at least i’m not the only one with drama – this week’s national enquirer is calling out trouble again for dr. phil mcgraw and his wife robin who supposedly stormed out – now the rumor is the couple is set to divorce and have put their home up for sale! i really don’t care what happens with them either way…i’ve never bought into his whole schtick! remember when he got all up & involved with britney spears? although i’m thrilled she has finally calmed down – now i kind of miss it – definitely there has been something missing from the gossip scene! i wonder who will be the next messy messerson?!? oh my word – i’m so itching for a juicy scandal (the last time i felt this way along w/ my pal tabloid whore – the very next day the whole denise richards & charlie sheen, heather locklear & richie sambora scene broke wide open!) i suggest the next big story should be for tomkat to split up – that would be killer!



the story featured at the top has totally peaked my gossip curiosity – supposedly oprah winfrey was cursed out in public by stedman graham‘s drunken daughter – could you imagine?!? drama! right now i’m actually loving ms. winfrey – did anyone else happen to catch her show last week all about puppy mills? i pretty much cried throughout the entire hour – i’m such a dog person (i’ve got three!) it was great to see oprah dedicate an entire show on the very important topic…please don’t ever purchase an animal from the pet store – there are so many dogs & cats who really need homes in shelters – if i had the space i would take in ten more! popbytes over & out for now…xxoo!

moving on we’ve got the ‘most shocking story you will ever read’ featured at the top concerning barack obama‘s controversial pastor jeremiah wright who doesn’t seem to be doing any good for mr. obama’s campaign with his over the top tirades yet right now i’m kind of over the whole election thing – i hope the democratic party will soon be able to settle on one candidate so the chosen nominee can begin to really go after john mccain – i’ll simply die if he becomes president – i can’t deal with him at all but enough about politics for now – it’s so not my topic and i generally feel uncomfortable writing about it!



it looks like carnie wilson is back to her big ways again after her gastric bypass didn’t seem to do the trick and now there’s talk of more surgery for ms. wilson who they have weighing in at 227lbs! i must admit that one of my guilty pleasure from the 90′s was wilson phillips – i loved hold on & release me – hopefully ms. wilson will get back on track – she was looking great for awhile! however the stories i’m most interested in are – what TV star got caught doing blow? your guess is as good as mine – i bet a lot of that goes on behind the scenes – along with the other drug related story about an ‘american idol’ star involved in an overdose of some sort – not good times – i will have to pick up the magazine this week to read what the scoop is!

good evening! i’ve got the latest cover of national enquirer tonight which is featuring oprah winfrey‘s weight gain (she’s supposedly gone from 146lbs to 246lbs – an ‘estimated’ gain of one hundred pounds) there’s been rumors of trouble over in ‘oprahdi$e’ for months now – stedman graham and ms. winfrey could be calling it quits after over twenty years of being together (since 1986) the ‘final showdown’ has apparently sent oprah into a feeding frenzy causing her to pack on a few extra pounds! if there’s real trouble – i bet the stress comes from figuring out how much money he’ll maybe get if the relationship fizzles out plus i’m sure oprah doesn’t wanting stedman writing a book or flapping his mouth to the press about their time together yet i’d be very surprised if he actually did that – he’s always appeared to be a true gentleman and a stand up kinda guy!



the other ‘big’ story featured on the cover revolves around demi moore who could be having a baby via in vitro fertilization at age 45 – i can’t imagine having grown children and then starting from scratch all over again but if i were married to hottie ashton kutcher i’d totally want to have his baby too – who wouldn’t?!? in other celebrity baby news there’s also a story about supposed troubles for nicole kidman and her pregnancy – i’ve noticed she seems to barely be showing but i have no sense of the timetables of being pregnant – i hope everything goes ok for her and hubby keith urban – their baby will be like the ‘anti’ suri cruise – they’ll be sworn enemies from the start! (total tabloid drama twenty years from now…)



we’ve also got janet jackson with rumored heart trouble from her yo-yo dieting which we all know has been the case with janet over the years – she’s gone up & down so many times…who can keep track? last but not least winona ryder might be up to her old kleptomaniac ways – i love how the magazine calls her ‘sticky fingers’ – ms. ryder rocks though…ever since i first saw her in beetlejuice i’ve been a diehard winona fan! popbytes over & out for now…xxoo!

good evening! i’m in total shock over the picture of a gaunt patrick swayze on the cover of the latest national enquirer…last week editor-in-chief david perel and his staff broke the very tragic news about mr. swayze battling pancreatic cancer with supposedly only weeks to live! now seeing a current picture – i doubt he has a long time left – and besides pancreatic cancer is one of the worst types to have – a distant relative of mine passed away not too long ago from the exact same cancer – she went downhill very quickly – and was only in her forties – so sad! the picture also shows him still smoking – word is that his cigarette habit was sometimes up to three packs a day – that’s a shit load of smokes! i think i’ve told you before that i happen to be a smoker but i really keep thinking about quitting and pictures like the one below are worth a thousand words – i don’t even physically enjoy it all that much – it’s all up in my head and i need to start coming to terms with saying goodbye to the cancer sticks – it’s a terribly dirty (and expensive) habit which i need to break…sooner rather than later



there’s a couple of other stories on the cover including more about that whole heather locklear suicide call which took me by surprise since she always seems so well put together – i hope everything is ok with ms. locklear – i love the fact that she’s with jack wagner – they make a stunning couple! front and center we’ve got weddings supposedly being called off for both katie couric and nicole richie (there hasn’t been a really hot celebrity wedding yet in ’08…i’d love to see brangelina walk down the aisle before the year is out) the bit of gossip at the bottom has me wondering what’s up with mandy moore‘s mom stacy leaving her dad for a woman? that’s drama but it’s not all that uncommon…i’m sure we’ll be hearing more about the situation with mandy’s mom soon! popbytes over & out for now…xxoo!

good evening! i’m sure by now you’ve already heard the sad news that broke today via the cover of the latest national enquirer about patrick swayze who is battling pancreatic cancer and might not have long to live but his doctor made a statement today saying he was responding to treatment – so please keep your fingers crossed for patrick and his wife lisa niemi (of 32 years – a very long time in hollywood!) i used to love mr. swayze in dirty dancing – i’ve probably seen it at least 100 times – although i never made it to see the ‘dirty dancing tour’! (but i did wear out the soundtrack back in the day – i adored that song where it goes ‘how do you call your loverboy?’)



there’s also secrets spilling out about possible democratic presidential nominee barack obama (a friendship w/ a terrorist, a money deal with a felon, and screaming at his wife over other women…) i’m beyond thrilled hillary clinton came out on top last night but the nomination remains up in the air for probably a few more weeks – i’d love to have them both in the white house (aka the dream ticket) she should be president and he can be vice president (oh enough about politics…i’ve been enjoying keeping up with this election yet overall i completely loathe the topic)



of coursebritney spears made the cover featuring more drama between her and adnan ghalib…and at the bottom star jones is still dealing with her rumored gay husband al reynolds who she supposedly kicked out after a big fight – whether he’s gay or not – i don’t see that relationship lasting forever! i mean seriously – could you (or anyone for that matter) deal with star jones everyday for the rest of your life? if he wasn’t gay before…he’s probably gay now! popbytes over & out for now…xxoo!

good evening y’all! there’s more drama going down with rachael ray and her creepy hubby john cusimano on the latest cover of national enquirer…this isn’t the first time we’ve heard about her supposedly rocky marriage – and when things aren’t going so well – it’s probably a smart idea to have a secret ‘divorce file’ – outlining all the issues which apparently include cheating photos, violent fights and more! let’s not forget the kitchen queen is filthy rich – so if push does come to shove – i bet a little evidence would help block her husband from getting his hands on her ‘dough’ – although i’m not a lawyer (obviously) but i’d imagine keeping track of things isn’t a bad idea – just like my old boy scout motto goes – be prepared! (yes i was a scout if you can believe it!)



in other marriage scandals – there’s hulk hogan‘s supposed mistress revealed (she actually looks like a dude in the small picture) and she wants to apologize to hogan’s estranged wife linda! that whole family totally annoys me – from daughter brooke’s pathetic lame attempt at a music career to son nick’s wreckless ways…i used to love their reality show but i don’t think i could stomach anymore of hogan knows best (he doesn’t) we’ve also got more on pink‘s recent split (which we all saw coming) from hottie skater carey hart who are rumored to both have other women on the side – which doesn’t surprise me at all – she has always given off that bisexual badass vibe – i love her and i’m glad that they’re remaining ‘best friends’ (for now…)



this past oscar weekend went off without the supposed showdown between angelina jolie and jennifer aniston that was to take place at a pre-oscar party! ms. aniston was in attendance at the beverly hills hotel on saturday night and brangelina pulled a no show – inside the magazine there’s details about how angelina was itching to go to the party but brad pitt decided it would be best to avoid the possibly flammable scene all together! oh my gosh i’d love to see the two ladies do a kick-ass road movie together (think thelma & louise) but that seems very unlikely to ever happen although it’d probably be box-office gold! popbytes over & out for now…xxoo!
