BRITNEY SPEARS CAUSED A SMALL CAR ACCIDENT!

i knew some kind of trouble was waiting around the corner for britney spears - with her track record something slightly messy was simply bound to happen eventually! apparently ms. spears wanted to go on a small joyride earlier this evening and accidentally bumped the car in front of her (while on the 101 in her white mercedes) that car in turn hit the next car in line - everyone is ok (traffic was heavy and moving at a reported speed of just 20mph) all three cars were questioned by police at a nearby gas station (also a perfect place for britney to hit the bathroom!) but no one got a ticket (rumors say britney was given a breathalyzer test!) it all sounds pretty minor to me but britney seemed a bit freaked out (and was clutching a pack of marlboro reds - she should at least try to downgrade to ultra lights and then quit altogether like i need to do) of course she let her bodyguard take over the wheel for the rest of her mini outing! britney totally needs to freshen up on her driving skills before heading out again - thankfully tonight no one was injured! popbytes over & out for tonight...xxoo!

HEIDI & SPENCER LAUNCH 'HEIDIWOOD' - UGH

hey hey! it looks like heidi montag is back to her favorite pastime - catching flies with her open mouth! well actually ms. montag along with her douche bag boyfriend spencer pratt were celebrating the launch of her totally unnecessary clothing line heidiwood (for anchor blue) yesterday i was walking through the hollywood/highland courtyard (as i do almost everyday when i make the trek from lunch at my apartment back to work) and they were setting up a runway - most of the events they hold there are pretty freakin' lame - and the unveiling of heidiwood is certainly no exception! i will say the clothes seem just slightly more fun than lauren conrad's totally boring & pricey line of clothes but that's not really saying much! although i really can't stand heidi or spencer at least they keep the hills interesting - otherwise we'd be subjected to more blank & spacey looks from audrina partridge who is such a drip! popbytes over & out for now...xxoo!

hey kids! maybe i'm just tired after a very long week (today was simply dreadful at work - i had to get through an annoying task but everything went fine - i need to sharpen up on my flash skills!) but there's some new pictures of britney spears hitting up west hollywood/beverly hills B2V hair salon and she could almost be mistaken for lindsay lohan - both ladies are rocking long straight blonde hair - and their sunglasses look pretty similar too! ms. lohan was seen out today hanging with her BFF samantha ronson down on melrose avenue by the DCMA collective store (owned by the madden brothers who are dating paris hilton & nicole richie - the circles sure do run small in hollywood) i'd be great to see ms. spears hanging w/ ms. lohan again - poor britney probably doesn't have many friends at this point - but i doubt we'll see her with lindsay anytime soon - although they could totally surprise us! DR. PHIL'S WIFE WALKS OUT!

good evening! oh it has been a heck of a day - i can't deal! yesterday the engine light came on in my car so i immediately took it into the shop and now it turns out 'something' is wrong with my transmission (probably the worst case scenario) it's getting fixed right now but gosh i hate dealing with car drama - i can't even change a tire! that's one great thing about NYC - no need to have a car but unfortunately you really can't get away with not having a car here in sunny los angeles! i'm hoping once it's fixed that my car will hold out for at least a few more years - i just finished paying it off and i don't want to have another monthly car payment anytime soon! (although i'd kill to pick up a porsche but that's not going to happen - at least not right now!)

at least i'm not the only one with drama - this week's national enquirer is calling out trouble again for dr. phil mcgraw and his wife robin who supposedly stormed out - now the rumor is the couple is set to divorce and have put their home up for sale! i really don't care what happens with them either way...i've never bought into his whole schtick! remember when he got all up & involved with britney spears? although i'm thrilled she has finally calmed down - now i kind of miss it - definitely there has been something missing from the gossip scene! i wonder who will be the next messy messerson?!? oh my word - i'm so itching for a juicy scandal (the last time i felt this way along w/ my pal tabloid whore - the very next day the whole denise richards & charlie sheen, heather locklear & richie sambora scene broke wide open!) i suggest the next big story should be for tomkat to split up - that would be killer!

good evening! i was chatting with my blog buddy nathaniel from the lovely film experience and he sent me this link about this oh so exciting project involving my dear tori amos! this summer there's a book coming out called comic book tattoo (hardcover, thick paper stock, 12"x12") a 500 page collaboration featuring a bunch of highly respected comic book artists - each working on an individual story inspired by the songs of ms. amos - what a freakin' neat idea! (there's a couple of awesome illustrations below - there'll be over fifty stories in total!) plus apparently tori has been quite involved in the project to make sure all of her 'girls' are treated with the respect they totally deserve! you can read a lot more about the whole thing over on comic book resources - oh i seriously can't wait to get myself a copy - it will be an amazing collectible for all fans of tori! popbytes over & out for now...xxoo!

CHARLTON HESTON - REST IN PEACE

sad news this weekend in hollywood - legendary oscar-winning actor charlton heston passed away yesterday at the age of 84 with his family by his side - he had an amazing run - plus was quite good looking back in the day - below is a shot of mr. heston as 'moses' in the ten commandments with anne baxter (who passed away in 1985) i loved him in the original planet of the apes back in 1968 - that updated version from a few years ago totally sucked! in recent years mr. heston was a bit on the crazy side - he was president of the 'national rifle association' from 1998-2003 and you'll probably recall him being interviewed in michael moore's oscar-winning documentary bowling for columbine (watch the clip) i prefer to remember him as a great larger than life actor - popbytes over & out - xxoo
