eartha kitt – still fierce at 81!

good morning and happy friday! a few weeks back i posted about julie newmar who was one of the three ladies who played catwoman back in the sixties – and today i’ve got an update on the always exotic eartha kitt who also donned the kitty tail back in the day! at age 81 ms. kitt is still looking hot today – she was on the red carpet last night for the opening of the revival of tennessee williams‘ play cat on a hot tin roof which is back on broadway again (this time starring anika noni rose & terrence howard) i actually caught ms. kitt on the great white way back in 2000 in the wild party which also starred toni collette and mandy patinkin and ms. kitt was simply amazing – she’s done a ton of film & television work and is also known as a cabaret singer with a few albums under her belt (her most recent is 2006′s live from cafe carlyle) below you’ll find a great high camp video from the eighties of eartha singing where is my man? she’s totally fierce – plus she’s a fellow capricorn – oh we totally rule the zodiac! popbytes over & out for now…xxoo!
