I am in total shock over this horrible death. Heath Ledger was a great actor and father and wil be dearly missed! I can only pray for his family and friends in this time of grief. May God bless his family and as well as all the people who dearly misses him! I hope and pray that his soul goes to God and that we all learn something from this. Don't Do Drugs!!! Take care and remember that God is still watching us!

Now all we have is memories. He made his last movie as the Joker in Batman...but I have to say my fav movie of his will always be Lords Of Dogtown when he plays as Zephyr.

What a sad sad day...

This is really sad!

They were sleeping pills, and he'd ordered a massage. Doesn't sound right to me. Why wait for a massage, take sleeping pills and throw them around the room? Strange.....

I went through middle school and high school thinking Heath Ledger was the cutiest thing. I never would have thought that a guy that looked like that and was so talented would take his own life. Most people before they kill themselves either leave a note or saying something to someone. Even so, you'd never have thought him to be the type that would do drugs. It just goes to show, you never know what goes on behind close doors.

I feel so bad that Heaths lil girl has to suffer over another horrible Hollywood tragedy. He was a truly gifted actor but not all the fame in the world can save you from life.

There were sleeping pills found in his bed. Perhaps, an accident. That happens alot with those darned sleeping pills. May he rest in peace.

I think this should show people in our society just how much nonsense we put celebrities through. It's to the point that they cannot stay on a somewhat normal schedule and they need to rely on sleeping pills and day pills to keep going. It's sad really.

i am totally in shock!! i just found out today (this morning) that he was going to be in the new Batman movie...then a few hours later...he's gone!! my heart sank and i cried..i just can't believe it!! he was on his way to the top, even more so then before..i've seen just about every movie he was in..i hope they don't recast his role in the movie..i plan to see it..

I agree with everyone here. This is so sad. I can only imagine what his family and friends are feeling. He was one of those people that seemed to connect with everyone around him whether you actually met him or not. This has been a rough week with Health ledger, Suzanne Pleshette and Brad Renfro passing.

he did not take illegal drugs. they did not find any in his blood and they didnt find signs of suicide. he either mixed prescriptions or accidentally OD'd. but nonetheless, he will be sorely missed. he was an incredible actor and sooooo good looking. i cried when i found out. his movies were incredible. he died before finishing the imaginarium. ten things about you will forever be his best movie. my thoughts go out to his family. <3 you forever heath
