good evening! it’s all about nip/tuck this week – you all know i’m a total fiend for the FX cable series and tonight i was super lucky to secure a spot on the red carpet tonight where stars dylan walsh & julian mcmahon came out to officially launch the opening of mcnamara / troy | los angeles!
there’s a whole kick-ass promo set up over in the hollywood & highland complex (that must have cost a ton of money) which is supposed to resemble their new plastic surgery office (in the 4th season finale the doctors moved their practice from miami to the city of angels where season #5 will take place) you can stop by and leave voicemails for the doctors and at night there’s this neat hologram (photos from the making of are below) playing of the two doctors removing the bandages of a lovely lady (who was also on the red carpet tonight…i asked her who was responsible for her cute green dress – she replied ‘it’s a secret’ – in reality i don’t think she knew who made it at all but she was way sweet & quite gorgeous!)
anyways i also ran into blog pals ms. lisa timmons & mr. wayne ford from a socialite’s life (along with cutie intern michael) which made the wait much more bearable – plus i made a new friend ms. kelly who was really nice & funny – she writes for ramblings of a TV whore – things can get a little tight when you’re covering the carpet – we all felt the crunch – but thankfully us bloggers got to speak with mr. walsh & mr. mcmahon for a bit of time – i snapped some pictures which are posted below (i so need to get myself a better camera very soon) there’s also a drop of video – the last clip was when those two cuties were talking with us – you’ll see lisa from ASL make a special appearance – then she tossed it back to me which threw me for a loop and i became all semi-speechless (and sweaty!) when i got home and watched the footage i realized i left the camera on – you can see the whole fumble at the end of the video clip embedded below! we did get in a question about rosie o’donnell and both guys guy agreed she’s fun to work with (as long as you’re not on her shit list – which is my own observation – they said nothing but nice things about her)
mr. walsh & mr. mcmahon were both so adorably sexy & gracious in person – gosh i was a drop nervous – julian is a slightly shifty character – you can tell he’s got a bad boy streak but damn – he’s fucking gorgeous! dylan was so sweet – he seems kinda shy – oh he’s quite sexy and tonight i thought to myself that i might actually choose ‘dr. mcnamara’ as the cutest one! (plus he’s a way better dresser) many thanks to kristy and the gang over at FX for helping a blog out – i freakin’ love nip/tuck!
