good evening! i don’t know about you – but i seriously love me some vintage pat benatar – every now & again i whip out her double greatest hits album and rip through most of her awesome songs including ‘hell is for children’ – ‘invincible’ – ‘hit me with your best shot’ – ‘we belong’ – ‘shadows of the night’ – and of course ‘love is a battlefield’ – plus there’s a bunch more…she totally rocks! (usually when i toss pat on i can’t help but dance around a bit while lip syncing – yes it’s sort of embarrassing but i can’t help myself) so when i came across this video mashup that features new rap diva lil mama laying down her hot hit track lip gloss over ms. benatar’s love is a battlefield – i simply had to share it with you all – the two tracks mash quite well together – enjoy it below!
oh my word – i can’t believe the weekend is coming to a close soon – which is such a bummer but we’ve got some good times coming to television this week – i’m almost ready to start an ugly betty countdown – gosh i cannot say enough about that show – it’s the best! (i’m also excited to catch james blunt on tuesday evening down at the el rey on wilshire – i’ve had a crush on him for the longest time – i’m not sure why…some gals think i’m crazy but he’s so darn dorky & adorable!) i’ll check you all tomorrow – popbytes over & out – xxoo!
