good evening y'all! as you might have noticed i haven't posted much about
so you think you can dance? (until now) at first i was ashamed to admit that i was watching it - i
totally ignored the first two seasons and then my good pal
joey (holla!) convinced me to give the show a try as she had loved the first two seasons! the show premiered right after
american idol had its sixth season finale (winner
jordin sparks just
signed with jive records)
so after all the idol madness i could barely deal with the thought of another 'reality' competition show yet after getting SYTYCD? into my regular TV schedule - i became hooked! unlike
dancing w/ the stars (not my favorite at all) each top twenty contestant is a pretty damn good dancer - plus everyone really progressed a lot throughout the season - each week they'd have to do a different style of dance - as people got voted off whittling it down to the final four
lacey,
danny,
neil (who was
so damn adorable - total crush material) & ms.
sabra who this past thursday night took the top honor as america's favorite dancer! (and deservedly so...she's
really spectacular!)
the finale was a two hour spectacle which included a bunch of past dance numbers plus performances from going solo PCD
nicole scherzinger &
ryan cabrera - i also must mention judge
mary murphy - gosh she's wild (oh that laugh and her hot tamale train) ms. murphy so reminds me of
paul abdul - it's eerie! i'm for sure on board with this show - i hope there's a 4th season coming - and don't forget we've got season #7 of idol kicking off in january - auditions are
already underway! i hope everyone is enjoying their weekend - has anyone seen
the invasion yet? i might try to see it tomorrow plus i have a brunch date on the sunset strip with my pal

It's Ben. I just got home from seeing "The Invasion" at Century City. I loved it! The critics are being a little harsh on the film. When I was young "The Invasion of the Body Snatchers" scared the crapped out of me...so I knew I would love this. Especially since I love Nicole Kidman...and the tasty Daniel Craig doesn't hurt either! It was scary as hell...and a pretty wild, suspensrful ride. So, I definitely recommend. By, the way...I don't know what kind of injections/surgury Nicole has had done...but she looks absolutely flawless in this film...almost like she's airbrushed. Stunning. Whatever she's doing...I'm next in line. Have a good night. Chat soon!
