good evening y'all! i had plans to head down to the roxy tonight but i ended up having to get a bunch of work done - so unfortunately i had to skip - i was really wanting to see let's go sailing & office - hopefully i can catch them at some point! anyways i was super excited today to receive info on the upcoming pj harvey (join her on myspace) album white chalk (her 8th studio album releasing sept 25th) she's one of my favorites - i especially love 1995's to bring you my love & 2000's stories from the city, stories from the sea - plus she'll be playing los angeles on oct 15th at the oprheum (and NYC on oct 10th at the beacon - one of the best venues in the big apple!) i must get myself to her show anyway possible - i've never seen her live and it would be AWESOME to finally see pj do her thing in person! below i've got an audio stream of a new track from ms. polly jean called when under ether along with a new haunting & beautiful promo shot as well as her latest album's cover (i also simply had to add her video for 'this is love' - a track off 'stories from the city...') popbytes over & out for now...xxoo!
