That Tammy Faye is such a strong woman, I love her! I saw the clip of tonight's interview last night on Larry King and even though it broke my heart, her attitude is inspiring. What a positive, amazing woman. Big prayers going out to Tammy! xoxo

The interview shows that life is not over even when we are very sick. By putting on her makeup and looking, as best she could, like the old Tammy Faye we all knew, she gave notice to other sick people that any illness does not win until the very last breath. Everything up to that moment is about living. Perhaps with struggle and difficulty, but nonetheless living. Had she not done the interview, or put on her makeup and stayed closeted, the cancer would have won even before the actual end.

Not a bad lesson for us all to learn.

God bless you Tammy, she has remained the same thru everything in her life. I truly believe there are lessons to be learned from Tammy's life and how God truly blessed her and gave her the strength to get thru all the gossip and the foul talking people. I know you are at peace with yourself and this world and really when you think about it, isn't that the only thing that matters in this world. I never had the chance to meet you, but I know we will meet one day in Heaven. God loves you and so do I. So few Christians have a heart to love everyone, even those that hate us. Tammy Faye Messner seems to be that example.

I have just loved TF since my Mom used to make me watch PTL back in the ice age. I don't dig the right-wing Christian crazies, but Tammy Faye has always had a true heart; I could see it even then. I just tried to go to her website to give her some love, but it's down. Is there any way for all of us to let her know how loved she is?

I do pray, however, that God forgives you for this and that your suffering on this Earth has bought you a place in Heaven. I did watch Larry King's show, and I feel that you were a very narcissistic person, even up to the very end. I guess you wanted people to feel sorry for you so that they would forget what kind of person you really were. What really got me was when Larry asked you what you wanted to be remembered for and you said your eyelashes. . . c'mon girl, how about your work for the Lord! May you rest in peace. I remember years ago when Tammy Faye was only known for her heavily made-up eyes, then we watched her go through the difficult times with her Husband in Prison raising her children alone, she never seemed bitter and was always so positive. It was so good to see her re-marry and seem so happy. Her appearances on Larry King showed us what she was made of, so strong, loving, caring and forgiving.
Seeing her look so ill the other night on Larry King ,yet still made-up and still hopeful really impressed me. Thank you to Larry for allowing the public to see what an amazing Woman she was.
My sympathy to her loving Husband,Ro and her children she was so proud of.

I remember Tammy back in the days of PTL, I always watched to see her she was considered Diva in her own way , she had the gems on the fingers and the make up of course , she was very kind and a down to earth Woman, and most of all a Child of God, may her soul rest in peace she no longer has to suffer the pain, she will be truly missed , deepest sympathy goes out to the family,

I remember watching Tammy on PTL. My mother faithful as she was we visited,. My parents became partners. My father caught on to miss apropration of funds via his checks retuned from bank. While I no longer am in the Christian community and have choosen a different path I look at Tammy and see her strength and innocence , her having should her or her family, had Jim been a real man, never been subjected to the embarrasment the whole mess caused yet I see her just one more time before she died to put herself out there something her eyes are still showing, emotional pain yet she always did love the camera. Blessed Be to a real women still taken who knows what to her new life to rid of.

I was a lifetime member of PTL & I loved Jim & Tammy as I still do....forgiveness is key here....Tammy Faye had a deep love for people that never changed....she was a fighter & she gave untold numbers of people hope. When I think of her I smile..there is a warm place in my heart for the spunky lady. Godspeed Tammy Faye

Shame on you Jane R. I think it is really sad that you feel that you have to pass judgment on another human being, especially after their death. The real issue that you should be praying about is your soul, b/c the last time I checked God is the only RIGHTEOUS Judge. On your spare time what you need to do is read your Bible and refresh your memory about what God says about judging others instaed of worrying if Tammy made it to Heaven or not. Another thing to think about is what will people say about you after you die! I am praying for your soul.

As a gay teen in the early 1980's, I was outed to my parents. They automatically assumed I had AIDS and would infect them, my brothers and sisters. I was immediately kicked out of the family. They believed I was lost and going to hell. Then they began watching Tammy Faye on Christian television telling the world that AIDS was not God's wrath. All Christian's, especially parents, should love not hate God's gay children. God made them that way, God loves them and God does not make junk. It completely changed them. They accepted me, let me come home and became supportive, too. God spoke through Tammy Faye and for me, changed the world. I will ALWAYS Love her. God Bless You, Tammy Faye
