UPDATE DEC 18th '07 it sound like britney's sister jamie lynn spears might actually be pregnant - the story is developing - once again the national enquirer called it before anyone else!

UPDATE this post has me feeling a drop guilty...tonight at the grocery store i breezed through a copy of the magazine - although i scanned it very quickly - it sounds like she only had a pregnancy scare - and is not pregnant! this story flew around the web and the poor girl is only sixteen! even though her older sister britney spears is a total wreck - let's not jump to conclusions that ms. jamie will head down the same messy path! i'm always on the hopeful side of things and i still pray brit can get her shit together - and make a triumphant comeback! (only time will tell...)

good morning boys & girls! the new national enquirer is posted below - and my eyes went straight away to the top which claims britney spears' little sister jamie lynn has a pregnancy bombshell to drop! oh my gosh could she be following in the footsteps of her super messy older sister?!? (although as someone pointed out - britney wasn't 16 plus she was married...but you get my point - it all just seems like another big trainwreck about to roll through) this is the last thing poor mom lynne spears needs - more drama! britney hasn't exactly been the best role model going for her sister - i'd be shocked if the 16 yr old is pregnant - that would be a total scandal! i want to get my hands on this issue - they were right about nicole richie being pregnant - they could be spot on again!

the main story isn't as juicy as the one on top - we've got stars' ex-lovers tell-all with bits about katie holmes, angelina jolie, and heather locklear (the violence, the boozing & non-stop partying must have something to do with richie sambora!) at the bottom there's a story on freaky plastic surgery using priscilla presley & barry manilow as examples - both who have total tight face! popbytes over & out for now...xxoo!

this is a bunch of bull crap like everything this magazine writes. Jamie lynn cares about her mother and her whole family as well and would never add more stress to the family. Just because Jamie is britney's sister doesn't mean she will do stuff similar to her sister. People in this world forget that everyone is their own person and that they have their own choice in life. Yes, Jamie lynn is a sister to Britney but just because she is related doesn't mean she will follow her sister footsteps.

If true, I wouldn't be totally shocked. It's nature verses nurture. Sure people have free will and can make their own choices in life. But, life experience will have a tremendous influence on those choices as well. Jamie Lynn is a product of the same family structure that produced Britney...and just look how well she's doing... {:-/

I read the article and from what i read She is not pregnant. She made a mistake just like anyone else can. Don't blame it on Britney, she gave her sister advice and she really didn't want to take it. Could be possible she had it aborted already. Also, the rest of the women in her family are already train wrecks, so why shouldn't she be?? This "she's only 16" crap is blind and ignorant. Developmentally many girls can become pregnant AND carry a baby fully to term with little complication around the time they are 14 years old.
