oh there’s some way sad news today – tammy faye just posted a new note on her website…her battle with cancer is not sounding good – i’ve been a huge supporter of tammy – if you haven’t seen the brilliant documentary the eyes of tammy faye you must! (you’ll understand my love for her after seeing this film…i promise!) you guys know by now that i’m totally not religious at all but i’m so darn inspired by tammy’s positive attitude & gracious spirit – she’s such a good bean and i’ll be praying for her – it’s a complete miracle that she has survived for a very long time with stage four lung cancer (and she never smoked) oh god bless her! also make sure to read about the 2nd documentary film on her tammy faye: death defying – popbytes over & out for tonight…xxoo!

thank you for the rooms full of flowers, the tables full of cards, and beautiful little gifts laying everywhere. thank you so much! i know i have missed so many gifts i should have sent for these special occasions. and then, trusting god to heal my sick stomach. please try to understand.

the doctors have stopped trying to treat the cancer and so now it’s up to god and my faith. and that’s enough! but please continue to pray for the pain and sick stomach.

my precious daughter, tammy sue, and her wonderful friends are staying with me while roe builds churches. they don’t want me falling down the stairs. i am down weight wise to 65 pounds, and look like a scarecrow. i need god’s miracle to swallow.

    Tammy is sufferring but not in vain. Her sufferings are blessing many, many people through her positive spirit and incredible attitude.
    Does anyone recall “Life with Maury”…now that would be something else to have Tammy openly share her struggles…not to exploit her, but just becasue she has been so inspirational.

    She probably doesn’t have lung cancer. It is probably colon cancer that traveded to her lungs.

    She turned out to be a really wonderful lady, she has suffered so much and carried on so bravely. She really is an inspiration about how you die with great dignity. I doin’t think she’s going to be around for too much longer. Sadness.

    I adore Tammy Faye, she is an inspiration, she always was, I loved her from the first minute I saw her. She is so authentic, she is a true American Original. She is up there with Jackie O in my opinion for dignity and grace, God bless Tammy Faye.

    I’m so sad. I just love Tammy Faye. Good Lord, 65 lbs. That is no way to live. I hope she is at peace soon. She was always so positive and fabulous whenever she spoke. Too bad there are not more people like her out there today. You are right, “The Eyes of Tammy Faye” was amazing. Anyone who has even the slightest bit of interest when it comes to her should rent it..you’ll love her even more.

    From what I have seen and heard from Tammy, I too think she is a truly beautiful lady, both inside and out. Her courage has most certainly been an inspiration to everyone. I watched my husband die shortly after we found out he had cancer. I am thankful he didn’t suffer long. My heart breaks for anyone having to deal with cancer in any way. I don’t know why we have to endure all these sorrows in this world, but I do know that God will take them and use them for His Glory. I pray for you Tammy, that God in His Divine Mercy either heals you here and now or makes your suffering bearable till the end. I sincerely pray for you and all those suffering.

    I used to watch Jim & Tammy Bakker as a young, married christian until the Jim started being seen in a negative light. I care about Tammy, and it’s sobering to think that she won’t be with us very much longer. She is my sister in Christ and I pray that the Lord will comfort & fill her with His love & presence at this time. I’m 51 now, and my own death has become something I think about. May the Lord Jesus Christ be with her and her loved ones, and His Spirit over-ride any pain she is in. You will be missed Tammy…God Bless You hon. Your sister, Susie

    Tammy Fae, you are indeed one of God’s own. Know that your good works will follow you, and that when God calls you back home, all the Saints and Angels will be there to greet you. You will feel the awesome love of God, and know His peace. When you go before our Lord, He will say, “Well done my good and faithful servent…..well done.”

    I pray God will touch you and Heal you. He knows no impossible !!! I pray He grant you yet a long time to live, that you improve everyday and leave the Drs Marvel as Jesus did when He walked the earth, and everyday by miracles He Grants even if people do not see them or realize them !!!
