good evening y’all! right off the bat – many thanks & much appreciation go out to my awesome cute pal zach who attended last night’s gwen stefani concert right here in los angeles (lady sovereign opened – she’s also pictued below) he managed to snap some great pics (and a small bit of video) which are all posted below! (he’s also the guy behind the pics from her kick-off show in las vegas!)
i totally should’ve secured tickets to the show months ago but of course i left things to the last minute and sadly i missed ms. stefani again! (shame on me!) i’m even more bummed about not going last night because shirley manson stopped by & performed wonderful life with gwen (oh my gosh i would’ve passed out!) i’m a huge fan of ms. manson and garbage – she’s so fucking fierce! i’m all busy tonight getting myself ready for next week and i’m also listening to the new björk album volta (due in stores on may 8th) she’s beyond bizarre but i freakin’ love her! popbytes over & out for tonight…xxoo!
PS the video clips below are great visuals but the sound isn’t so great but i really enjoyed seeing them!
direct from mr. zach here’s a few details from the show…ms. stefani said she actually met hubby gavin rossdale there – at universal/gibson ampitheater – saying the venue felt much smaller than she remembered – gwen also mentioned shirley manson was ‘so fuckin hot’ plus she had met her there as well. gwen said it was her 4th or 5th show with about eighty left adding she’s so excited to be on tour again! she also dedicated ‘the real thing’ to baby kingston!
