UPDATE songs are leaking from the album! have a listen to snippets of big wheel, bouncing off clouds & secret spell! all are going to be a kick-ass tracks - woo hoo - oh man i love ms. amos! i'm so excited for the new album - oh my word!

hey hey! so i know i already posted about the upcoming 9th studio release (due in just two months on may 1st) from my darling tori amos entitled american doll posse but i'm so fucking excited i could wet myself (i'll manage to keep things together...no worries!) but i'm a little pissed off that some people have been putting down her most recent albums the beekeeper & scarlet's walk...both are incredibly brilliant albums! to be perfectly honest being a diehard ms. amos fan - i don't even think i could name one song i don't care for by her!

oh sure there are tracks that i like better than others but i've never ever been disappointed by tori! i literally cannot wait to hear what she has whipped up this time...by the looks of the imagery below the album feels like it could be an incredible dark cross between boys for pele & from the choirgirl hotel (my personal favorite...although i love them all) right now i'm on tori alert big time - if anyone else has any new info on the album - please let me know! popbytes over & out for tonight...xxoo!

PS i think my lone courtney love tattoo could use a little company...what kind of tori amos ink could i get?!?

As for Tori ink - I always thought the SW cartoon from the back of the special edition box would be cool as a tattoo. Very intricate tho :)

AS ALWAYS ... Tori fails to disappoint and as usual, I expect nothing less. I've had Bouncing Off Clouds on repeat since I found it on the site. Choirgirl has been my favorite album of hers, from the second I heard it ... I'm convinced that the Grammy awards never horor true musical genius with an actual award, but would rather give it to some mediocre talent like Sheryl Crow (sorry to the Crow fans)!

I totally agree with you that Scarlet's Walk and The Beekeeper are amazing albums. "Toast" is the most heartbreakingly beautiful song. And SW is one of my favorite albums by her (that and Choirgirl). I can't wait for this album!!

I am soo excited for the new album to come out. I have no expectations for how I "want" it to sound. I just know Tori will deliver. I am so bummed that the only concert dates so far are in Europe.
