good evening ladies & gents! everyone i know totally loves ellen degeneres including my mom! ellen’s girlfriend funny gal portia de rossi is the coolest! (she rocked on both ally mcbeal and arrested development) i think they make an amazing couple and i hope the gals manage to keep things together! i did notice that ms. de rossi was looking a little thin but damn fabulous at the oscars but i didn’t see a huge need for concern…
this week’s STAR magazine showcases portia at various weight points – i didn’t realize how thin she was back in 2000 – gosh that’s scary skinny! i don’t really know how the magazine can estimate weights like they do (yet it’s one of their favorite activities) right now they’ve got her pegged at 125lbs looking great but they claim she’s ten pounds lighter right now – we’ll keep our eyes on her but i think she’s fine and the article is jumping the gun! anyone else agree? ellen degeneres was walking on air after hosting the academy awards for the first time ever on february 25. but did the tv talk-show host’s high quickly evaporate when she saw photos taken that night of her girlfriend, portia de rossi, 34, looking very thin in her midnight-blue zac posen gown? “ellen must have been surprised by just how thin portia looked in those pictures,” says a source. “she was skin and bones!”
portia herself has admitted that when she starred on the hit series ally mcbeal alongside pinthin calista flockhart, she had an eating disorder. “when i was anorexic, it just seemed like i literally wanted to disappear,” she told vogue in an interview. now ellen, 49, is desperately trying to keep her girlfriend of two years healthy, sources say. “ellen has always taken on the caretaker role with the younger portia, and with portia’s history, ellen doesn’t want to take any chances,” the source says. “she’s going to stick by her side and make sure she doesn’t lose any more weight!”
