I am surprised he thought people would see him as anything but a pop artist considering his start in the business. Artists always seem to miss that just because they have decided they would like a new image doesn't mean everyone else will see them that way.

Lets be completely honest about something. The only reason Mr. Timberlake is not considered an "R&B artist" is because he is white. Thats the only reason becausemany hip-hop/urban stations admit to liking him, but dont admire someone whose not black to do the style of music they created. I personally think that "Justified" was a good R&B album, but in comparison to other albums, it isnt viewed the same. I was disappointed he only had nods for Pop Album and Male Pop Vocal. It was the same irony for Futuresex/Lovesounds, considered a pop album. Funny think though, he isnt completely respected for his flare of R&B, but he actually won a Rap/Sung Collabo Grammy this year for My Love. It went to No.2 on the R&B charts, think about that...
