good evening! did anyone else catch last night’s episode of saturday night live with host julia louis-dreyfus? although she’ll always be known to me as the woman who stole valerie cherish‘s much deserved emmy award – i do actually find her to be entertaining! (julia was up against lisa kudrow and unfortunately won) last night’s SNL episode was a fairly decent one – check out the monologue clip below where ms. louis-dreyfus pulls a britney spears – plus below that is another skit with julia and an over eager boom guy and right next door is the opening which featured a very funny bit from chris rock on the upcoming ’08 presidential race! (there was a great skit at the end on the new pussycat dolls show but i can’t find the clip on youtube) popbytes over & out for now…xxoo!

    Oh, right, because that whole lynching thing wasn’t a deterrent, right mel. They should just have been thankful that a law passed giving them the right, not that they could actually do it in practice. Wow! Please go back and really learn your history.

    Umm Mel what the heck are you talking about? Yo must be talking about another country because in the U.S.A. black men did not get the right to vote before women. Google it. Also as far as C.R. being ignorant please tell me that statment isn’t based on that one comment.

    Um, Diva, black men got to the right to vote a full 50 years before any women did in this country. I’m not saying there weren’t horrible issues and roadblocks surrounding it for years and years afterward, but you need to check your facts. Or, better yet, go back to the 3rd grade where most of us learned this stuff.
