If she loves her clothing line so much why doesnt she wear her clothing line on the red carpet or in her videos. If I had a clothing line I would never be caught dead in another designers clothes.

Beyonce is the only celebrity I know that does not get caught having sex on tape,showing her cha cha,getting arrested ,or shaving her head yet every week people seem to find something to rag on her about. Please if you don't like don't buy it. Simple as that but to waste time putting the girl down is just STUPID! Gwen stefani better sell clothes cause nobody is buying that damn cd. this clothing line isn't my type of clothes..why ? First of all its too trendy and ghetto hood looking and the cost of it is Foolywang ridiculous..I prefer classic clothing line like Carolina Herrera, DKNY, POLO,CALVIN KLEIN, and for hip fashion's BABY PHAT for women are the best Kimora's line is actually wearable for work and play..But Beyonce clothing line is a hotmess and only ppl wearing it is stupid hoodrats..Whom are doing credit card fruad to wear the clothes cause BEyonce the no.1 hoodrat says wear my ugly clothes yuck!!!!! She embarasses me to be known to her that she is houston girl because houston women dress lady like and not hookerish ..Beyonce clothes get uglier and uglier just like her early clothing choices her mom designed for them when it was the ghetto looking costume's of 1997-2005 DEstiny Child days.. Personally, while many of you might focus your desires or venom on Beyonce herself, I will focus on the ad and clothing. I find it funny when people think that just because singers come out with clothing lines that everyone is quick to give them credit. They get paid for usage of their name and face, not for creation. Somebody else creates the clothes, the singers just say yes or no to repping it.

As far as House Of Dereon, not really impressed. It looks like another approach to the whole "Urban/Hiphop-inspired/Ghettogirl" motif that Beyonce, Gwen, J.lo, etc are trying to accomplish. Dont get me wrong, I admire the ambition behind it, even if its a mere excuse to get extra money because mere singers dont make mad money off of albums anymore (especially with downloads), but the clothes are weak.

The ads seem very self-absorbed with the cameras "following Beyonce everywhere" and "she's that important". Solange doesnt generate that kind of buzz so the cameras catch her because her sister is in the forefront. In the end, I think Beyonce should stick to music, let somebody else earn the money.

Personally I hate house of derriere. It is far too gettho or las vegas showgirl-ee. However, i do think its sweet that b does this for her mother. Instead of just living off her daughter like pimpa joe and lynn spears momma b is working for it. however ugly it is people must be buying it since it hasnt tanked yet.

From my opinion Beyonce and her mother is doing a good job with her clothing line. Other people are just hating on her cause she is pretty and has a lots of money. Her clothes are too high ,but it is worth it. House of Dereon has the type of clothes that are for different occasions. Like for going to the movies, going out on a date, for a job interview,etc. Not many clothing lines have that. Beyonce and Tina need to keep doing what they are doing and don't let HATERS bring them down.

One of my students wanted to do a report on Beyonce's clothing line, although I personally don't care for her little urban girls look up to her and admire her. As we were going over her site for the clothing line I asked the girls what don't you like about this clothing line and they all responded by saying the prices were too high. These artists forget where they came from alot of the times and they forget there are younger generations that would love to support and wear their clothes they have, but can't afford it. They always talk about giving back to the community and looking out for their people. Well let's make for those parents who can't afford $150 for a pair of capri jeans and who will spend hard earned money on a cd that's work about $5.
