good morning - happy friday! here we've got the brand new christina aguilera video for candyman which is the third single from her double disc album 'back to basics' - i think she looks totally adorable in the video (working a couple of different looks) but honestly i'm not super crazy about the song - it's fun but the track just doesn't feel like strong 'single' material! i can't imagine hearing this on the radio a lot but i could be wrong...i wonder if she's already lined up the fourth single? she'll also be playing in los angeles soon when her back to basics tour comes to town - i haven't secured tickets yet though - i think it's too late now :( i'll live though! popbytes over & out for now...xxoo!
Great homage to the war-era swing sound. Great video and even if this song doesn't become a huge hit, she should at least get credit for attempting to be different. She looks great when she goes for the old school look.
