i think that faith hill has always gotten female vocalist of the year. and it is cool that carrie underwood got it. but i would be mad if i have always gotten it and someone else gets it. i feel real bad for faith hill. but good job to carrie.

I happened to be watching when Carrie was declared the female vocalist of the year...and it was pretty funny to see the normally much refined and professional Faith Hill act in such a "sour grapes" fashion. Faith, you just never know where those cameras are going to be, do you? I think you better look in the mirror and practice your fake "I don't care who won, it's an honor just to be nominated" face......

Well, Faith should be upset. Carrie Underwood only has THREE hits. How long have all these other amazing country singers been in this business.

Carrie Underwood deserves this award, she maybe new but she is awesome and Faith Hill should of had more respect for others in the business after all she was new at one time, I have always loved Faith Hill but this is a side of her that is very very ugly

Faith Hill needs to be more respectful and for her to assume that she was going to win this award is terrible. She hasn't had any songs that I have liked since...never. There were other great artist in this category ... Martina McBride....Gretchen Wilson....and Sara Evans these women show class because they don't throw tantrums in front of country music fans across the nation. Yeah it was so short that I can't tell.. .she may have been joking something so out of charicter you have to assume would be a joke. IT wasn't like the SECOND she won thats what she did ... there was a second or two gone by and then she did it... if i remember right.

I cracked smooth up! The sad part is that all this attention is paid on her reaction and not on the wonderful artist who won the award. So I guess Faith did win... just not the way she wanted to, I'd bet!

Faith Hill is a snob. She pretends to be the girl next door but her true self was displayed last night when Carrie Underwood won. Faith Hill is arrogant and resting on her laurels; she hasn't had a good song in a long, long time.

I watched this over and over and it looks to me that Faith assumed she won and then realized it wasn't her name that was called. Not a joke. Faith has had her time in the spotlight, let the new ones shine.

Faith would have been my last pick on that list to win. I would have loved to see Sara Evans or Martina Mcbride win because they are the best singers but Carrie is deserving. She can sing better then Faith, she is much hotter and apparently has way more class.

I think it was all a joke, she knew the camera was on her and that is just her always being playful. Faith has only won that award one time and that was in 2000. So there is no reason that she would have expected to win.

If you look closely and at the timimg of it all. It looks like Faith anticipated that she won and threw up her hands like she had won then realized she didn't win. She still had a smile on her face when she threw up her hands. Then the big WHAT? came. Good for Carrie, I think her three songs are better than anything Faith has put out and I agree it is the artist of the YEAR!

theres NO way faith hill was joking around. she clearly thought she was going to win. & over the past year carrie has become an AMAZING artist & every one of her songs is good. could it really hurt that much to know your not the only good country singer. i used to love faith hill up until i seen this..that was really rude. carrie has worked so hard this past year she deserved that award!

Even if Faith Hill was joking, it was still a disrespectful thing to do, because she is taking away from Carrie Underwood's moment and putting focus on herself through her reaction. I think Faith Hill is a very self-centered person, and whether she was joking or not, her reaction proved this.

Has anybody ever stopped to think that YES Faith DID in fact know the camera's were on BUT she was so confident that she was going to win, when she heard CARRIE'S name called she lost total control of herself, never thought at that second that "oh yeah the cameras are on" until it was to late, it does happen to alot of us in different situations, we lose control at the moment, forgetting about our surroundings until it's to late, You know that FAITH was so damed confident her hillbilly ass was going to take that award home again but in the end she got her fake acting ass caught on camera losing total control of herself!
