UPDATE someone pointed out on JJB that maddox‘s eyes looked funny and then someone posted the original photo which clearly shows maddox with his eyes closed! the eyes must have been photoshopped on – that’s wild!



good evening boys & girls! yes it’s about that time of the week…let’s get to the very latest cover of STAR magazine which is all about brad pitt & angelina jolie‘s ‘big baby announcement’…word on the street is that the two are possibly thinking of adopting another baby – this time from india! now i’m all for more adoptions & saving the children of the world but i think brad & angie should relax and calm themselves down a bit but just because they were visiting children in an oprhanage / adoption center doesn’t mean they’ll have a new baby soon but i’m almost 100% sure we’ll see more additions to the jolie-pitt clan – whether by adoption or human nature!


in other headlines we’ve got britney spears supposedly catching kevin federline with another woman…ok here’s my quick thoughts of the moment on kfed-ex – he isn’t the worst looking guy ever – in fact sometimes i’ve said he was cute but gosh i take that all back! he is one of the scummiest people ever – and if he does have some supposed sex tape and tries to blackmail britney over it – that’s beyond wrong – she’s still the mother of his children! yet it’s quite obvious that he just doesn’t care at all plus the fact that he’s seeking custody of the kids – it’s like you’ve got to be fucking kidding me! i can’t wait to go to his concert next week here in LA (unless it gets cancelled) so i can go and boo his ass! but i will say that we all warned britney about this guy and now look what she has to go and deal with – what a headache!

finally it looks like that darn mysterious ‘baby bump’ has appeared on katie holmes – gosh that baby bump sure does get around – it’s like catching a case of the flu in hollywood! i’ve got some more to post on that story later! right now for some reason i’ve gotten sucked into the finale of dancing with the stars – i don’t mind the show at all but it’s for sure TV that you can toss on in the background while you take care of other things! popbytes over & out for now…xxoo!

    Did anyone else notice Star also lightened Zahara’s skin color? It appears they also changed the gentleman in the background.
    Perhaps Star feels they make a more attractive family when their skin colors are a closer match. I wonder how Brad & Angie feel about that statement.

    I am all for helping the children of the world but when is enough enough? As a parent, I can honestly say that a person’s heart has more love than you can ever imagine. But if a normal loving couple wanted to adopt the way that they do, I would venture to say that they would not be granted permission. A few of the reasons would be along the lines of them not being married and therefore not a secure or stable environment. Don’t even get me started on same sex couples not being allowed to adopt!! If it is a loving home, then why can’t they – my only question and they can’t answer it. Back on track, sorry…
    So I guess my point is, where I understand that they want to and have the means to help out the children, why are the rules different for them?

    Yeah, they definitely changed ZAHARA’S skin color, lips and nose. She does not look like that.

    I doubt the lightening of the girl’s face had anything to do with racial homogenization. As a photographer I know it can be difficult to photograph light skinned people (pale assed angelina, who they appear to have darkened, aka. “burned”) and dark skinned people in a non-studio setting and get a good exposure on both. The lightening (“dodging”) of her face was likely to bring out more detail and make her face easier to see.
    The eyes on the boy are a whole other story… ridiculous.

    Isnt Zahara EAST African. Not all blacks are the color of tar, have kinky hair, broad noses and big lips. Maddox’s nose is broader than Z’s and Angie’s lips are bigger than hers.

    I love the Brad & Angelina clan, but I think it is so strange that when Angelina adopted Maddox and Zahara, she had them everywhere with her, but now that she has given birth to Shiloh, she never has Shiloh with her. It is always Brad, Angelina, Maddox, and Zahara; Shiloh is never with them. What is up with that? This is the first child for both of them, but the baby is never with them. Also, does anyone know if Angelina and her father, actor Jon Voight, ever made up? Does he even have a bond with his grandchildren? Does she let him see his grandchildren?

    Yeah, they clearly lightened the whole picture- All the faces, shadows, clothes etc. are lightened to more clearly see their faces

    I worked as and Art Director at an African American women’s mag for a couple of years and can tell you that magazines usually scan photos lighter b/c the photos get darker on press. So maybe the photo ran lighter because they didn’t want to lose detail?
    I’d hate to think that the art department at Star (no matter how deceptive the mag can be) would take the time to do all that to baby Z. She’s not OJ for God sakes (not that darkening him was okay either, but that was more believable to me because of all the controversy at the time.).
    And as a mom of three completely biologically related black children, I can testify that kids (or at least kids of African descent) can look different between birth and the preschool years. Things like skin tones, hair textures and features do change, as I’ve been witnessing with my own.
    But I was surprised when I saw Zahara too, she just looked different to me (still adorable, just more typically Ethiopian).
    Either way, I’m glad that Carol’s daughter product is working on her hair, considering I was going off about their upkeep of it on my blog a few weeks ago.
