oh it’s a good day people! my dear beloved indigo girls released their latest album today called despite our differences and marks the first album on a new label (hollywood records – owned by disney) after spending many amazing years over on epic! i’ve been lucky enough to have seen them about 20x in concert – these ladies are both true musicians and have been jamming together for over twenty years now if you can believe it!
one of the things i adore most is how they each write their songs separately (both have vastly different styles) and then come together to record each of the songs with amazing harmonies & melodies – everytime i listen to amy & emily it’s like wrapping myself in a big warm blanket! i’m so glad the duo is still producing & recording great music! so make sure to pop over to their newly designed website indigogirls.com as well as their myspace page which is streaming some of the new tracks!
