well they may not be 'crazy christians' (studio 60 rocked again last night btw) but those claymates are pretty close...today clay aiken is making two stops on hollywood blvd and all the ladies (aka claymates) are getting ready for him! first he's doing a signing an in-store signing at virgin records across the street and tonight he is appearing on jimmy kimmel - although i can't stand mr. aiken i just had to run downstairs and snap some of the clay action - it's just too funny! someone even had denim bag with his face ironed on the side! i love the balloon picture though - i had to ask these two little old ladies if i could snap their balloon - both were quite suspicious but allowed me to take the picture - little did they know i would be trashing clay! the shocking news though is that his album released just last week actually knocked justin timberlake off the top spot on the billboard charts...that's such a freakin' shame! especially because mr. aiken's album is just a bunch of dumb ass covers of 'love' songs - ugh gag me with spoon! popbytes over & out for now...xxoo!

UPDATE on my way back from lunch i got inside virgin and snapped the two pics at the very bottom - i wish they were more clear but it was a bit crazy inside as you might imagine! i was in the middle of all these claymates - it made me a little scared!

These are hilarious. I love anything Claymate related. I love Clay - he fascinates me. Some of his fans? Not so much. Who created the goatee with a sharpee pen? Funny. I'm also disappointed that his new album is just a bunch of fucking cover songs. Ugh. His first and now this album are both pieces of crap. His voice is better than that. Too bad his taste in music just sucks.

Justin Timblerlake has not got a good singing voice and his songs are not pretty either. Clay Aiken's singing voice is way better than his and at least his songs make sense and are love songs or something. A lot of Justin's songs sound like talking instead of singing.

-Correction: Timberlake's CD came in at #1 w/ 231,000 sold the second week out, Aiken's CD was #2 with 206, 000 sold it's first week out. (Timberlake's CD sold approx. 700,000 his first week.) IOW... Why the hell are these two even being compared? Aiken isn't anywhere near Timberlake's stratosphere of CD-sales, popularity, accomplishments, talent, or relevance. Geez. Get real. I'm not a Timberlake follower, but, damn,even I know the difference between what he's accomplished and Aiken's freak stroke of luck.

What IS relevant is that Justin Timberlake can't sing. He's said he wants to recreate music. Gee, I wonder why? If he can convince enough people that having a good voice is irrelevant, and to a great degree he has actually already done this!, he can make millions selling his version of "music"to the gullible masses. Being different or original is not always better.

GOSH!! THOSE DAMN CLAYMATES ARE JUST TOO CRAZY!!! First off... Timberlake is MUCH MUCH MUCH more talented than Aiken. Just tell me, why couldn't Aiken get more ORIGINAL Songs on that album? It's like hearing a sratch to a chalkboard when you hear aiken's BAD COVER or Richard Marx's RIGHT HERE WAITING Song! Shit! JC Chasez DOES A BETTER JOB on that!
