    it took me about 3 episodes to warm up to Val but me and the other 5 people that actually watched the show loved it

    Same. I didn’t really get the show until the second or third episode, but then it was hilarious. Kudrow was really great in this role, too bad they didn’t get a second chance.

    Love The Comeback! I hope everyone has gone out and bought the DVD. Does anyone know how the DVD sales are going? I assume the execs are waiting to see the numbers before making any more decisions on the show.

    it doesnt appear to be doing very well according to amazon.com’s charts of its sales. not in their top 100.
    we must continue to plug away. i dont know if it will ever be reconsidered by hbo, but that doesnt mean it cant make new fans from the dvd..

    I think the show is done. She “won” in the end and there really isn’t anymore they can do with the show. It was more about her “triumph” over Paulie then anything else
