note to ryan star: screw supernova!

i’m so bummed that on rockstar over on CBS tonight – that supernova band of fools sent one of the best people packing…the very talented & incredibly sexy ryan star – i don’t know if y’all are watching this show – but it has been steady staple of popbytes except host brooke burke annoys the fuck out of me! gosh i really do wish i had more time to do recaps on some of the shows i’m loving at the moment (oh my project runway) but there are only so many hours in one day unless i gave up sleeping for blogging! (i might have to go off on ericka from big brother 7: all-stars in another post very soon – what a bitch!)



anyways you could tell once the audience started booing – that dumb ass tommy lee was questioning their decision to send mr. star home tonight – that storm girl really needed to be booted and by the look on her face she knew it too…now my energy is being focused on dilana who is also really great and i think for the band it would be in their best interests to have a female lead singer if they want to sell records – three aging rockers need a little girl mojo to give them a better edge! and don’t worry about ryan – he will totally have a solo career of his own – check out his incredible goosebumps & chills performance from a few weeks ago of REM‘s losing my religion – popbytes over & out for now…xxoo!

    I agree Ryan will have an aweaom career… I disagree with you about Dilana.. I think the canadian with the makeup would be better suited for those guys…by the way very cool having the video…. I just started this blog thing and have know clue about how to do anything yet

    WOW. After watching that I am bummed I bailed on Rockstar this season after the first episode! He was awesome. Love that he performs a cover of that song very similar to the way Tori Amos does. F*** rockstar!

    his fatal performance was way over the top! I was half-expecting the piano to give way to his cumbersome and ungraceful acrobatics. Granted that he has excellent vocals, the problem with Ryan is that he can’t seem to find a comfortable positioning for his body. I get agitated watching him make awkward poses and effected leaps- he is simply too uncoordinated and it’s so annoying. His facial expressions are likewise hampered by an inability to produce believable emotions as called for by the song; it’s either he looks as if he’s suffering from diarrhea or constipation. I’d love Dillana to win simply because over-all, she’s pitch perfect; professional without being too commercially polished. But we don’t know if a potentially major rockband is willing to take on a female lead- there hasn’t been one really. Paul who seems to be the second best one after Dillana is simply too full of shit to be ever appealing; he’s one guy who i think, is actually constipated for life…

    I believe Ryan got a raw deal last night!! He should have stayed and they should have sent Storm home. Ryan has come a long way from the beginning. Even Jason had a look of total disbelieve on his face when Tommy announced the decision; Jason just hung his head. ROCK ON RYAN!!!! Like you said, we’ll see you on the charts!!!

    I am right there with you on being bummed that Ryan was booted the other night. However, I think Supernova would be better without Dilana–not that she isn’t awesome. I have loved her since the first show, but Gilby and Jason seem to “sensible” to want to deal with all the DRAMA that Dilana could be bringing with her. If not for that stuff, I would be so stoked for Dilana. Now, I am busy rooting for Magni.
    Storm is a total skank that needed to be gone…she is, in no way, right for “our Band”. :)

    Ryan just didn’t “fit” w/Supernova. He was making changes to please SNova that weren’t true to himself. I agree w/ryanlove, his stage presence was awkward and irksome. I wouldn’t buy his music. > Magni has progressed w/melodic vocals that have surprised me becuz he started off singing the same ole rock sound. He’s shown some melodic range. > Dilana is awesome, minus that horrific performance from being on the bottom three, what the hell was that? > Don’t you think SNova leaning towards Tobi or perhaps Lukas? > Storm……her song selections reek, week after week. She’s probably the next to fly. > As for Big Bro……good riddance Danielle, dumb ass. Unreal that all of ‘em have allowed Chill Town to remain.

    I tried to vote for Ryan after the performances on Tuesday night but I couldn’t. I always got error messages I tried for about three hours but still I couldn’t vote for Ryan some of my friends got the samething. I hope someone check this out. When someone is counting on fans votes to stay alive. Ryan is a great songwriter/singer/musician he will do great in his solo carrer. Supernova will go no where they are a bunch of old washout musicians their carrers are over. Ryan I love you I wish you the best of luck.Once again SOMEONE SHOULD CHECK THE SITUATION OUT RYAN GOT ROBBED I COULDN” T VOTE FOR HIM THERE SHOULD BE A REVOTE………….

    Ugh, I can’t believe they got rid of Ryan! He was my favorite. He improved so much and put a lt of effort into his performances. As for Dilana, well- she’s too cocky for me. Lukas is okay but I really think Magne’s best for the band.

    It’s about time he got booted off. Ryan’s career will get wasted because of being with supernova. He’s better off solo, or with the houseband.
    Supernova is a label’s dream. It’s for money, that’s why it was Dilana and Lukas from the start. Dilana “stumbled” to make way for Lukas not because they won’t last long with a female singer, but they get to hit two birds at once. Dilana can make it solo and is the most popular.
    If only Toby and Ryan can make out something to topple the Dilana-Supernova team up. Or better, some punk rocker topples them down from the charts.
