Angie Jolie has a nice size fan base....

Brangelina has a nice size fan base....

Jen Aniston has a nice size fan base....

Given that those are the facts.....

Have you ever thought about at the very LEAST making up stories that would be a 'buying trigger' for all 4 fanbases? Instead of those that alienate 3 out of 4, and piss them off.

Because right now, these 3 of 4 aren't buying your weekly.

Do yourselves a favor, just for research purposes go overto Justjared.com -- Brad and/or Angelina threads typically number 1000 posts or more...usually 1300-1400 posts, that translates to a 13-14 page thread, whereby on every page people (mostly die-hard fans of the couple/family) are posting 100 posts a page.

Conversely, a Jen Aniston thread might get to 2 or 3 pages if the story is a good one - that's roughly 200-300 posts.

If justjared was a magazine - that would be like him ignoring the brangelina fans, and catering to the jen aniston fans - get my drift? Now appealing to the Aniston fan, may be an improvement over your regular circ rates, but appealing to the Brangelina fan, not only captures the pissed off Aniston fan but will incorporate those tens of thousands who are currently NOT buying you and who have sworn off buying you.

Why not try and post some gooey, mushy, sexy, happy, positive story (hey - it can be just as fake as your usual fare don't worry about that) about Brad & Angelina, and watch it FLY off the shelves! You will not only get 3 of 4 fanbases, but you will ALSO get the Jen Aniston fan base, as they cannot resist Brad & Angelina no matter how you slice it.

Because right now, their very hefty fanbase is NOT buying you. You may think your circulation is great with all the embittered Angelina haters buying the negative anti sentiment stuff, but I guarantee you, you'll keep them, and gain 10 times the circ by giving the Brangelina fans something THEY would LIKE reading.

it is what it is - a tabloid magazine - of course 95% of the stuff isn't true - yes i know that - everyone needs to calm down - it's just some silly stuff to post on and i never imply it's truth or gospel - if you read the post above i'm merely pointing out what's going on this week in STAR & that's it - and besides some tabloid stuff there is a lot more going on here on popbytes and i know a lot of people enjoy the site - i try to post some different content than the other celeb blogs and mix in a lot of entertainment type stuff - can you really deal with one more lindsay lohan bikini pic? gosh there are so many cut & paste blogs springing up these days - i try to provide everyone with some mindless pop chatter for fun and i usually try give everything its own popbytes flair - if you don't like here then don't come back

I enjoy laughing at the STAR covers of Brangelina because every fight is always their first big fight according to STAR. I think what will help you is if you give your own take on the covers and not seem like you buy the crap STAR is selling. Saying Angie looked like somebody that won't get along with her boyfriend's mum is taking sides with STAR which can never keep up with their own fanfiction. I wonder where the PITT'S stayed when they visited them in Africa. I think your site is cool and thanks for the covers just don't let your comments on STAR covers seems like you but their shit they are selling.

Ok "TheStarSucks" "IWONTbeBACK" and other freaks getting their panties all twisted, it's a freakin tabloid story, if you want die hard facts go to cnn or something, you act like Star is talking about your family. Brad and Angelina could care less about these stories because they are TABLOIDS, so no need to feel sorry for them. I am sure they are laughing things like this off while sipping tea on their multimillion dollar estate. Really, do you think a tabloid story is going to tear them apart?

OMG, I am embarrassed for the people who are at the top of the comments here. Of course MK knows it's a tabloid and probably not real. WE ALL know it's a tabloid and anyone who argues with what's posted on the cover with a comment like, "tabloid stories have no basis, or boycott star, or star is all lies!" is a complete dumb ass. You are missing the point of the fun of the post. The fact that the stories are most likely not true is a given and it's obvious MK knows that and is playing around with it. For someone to say they wont come back to this awesome blog because he posts Star magazine covers is insane. If you are going to leave because of that, then you were never a real fan of this blog. It's called popbytes dumb asses and Star Magazine, Us Weekly, etc...all those tabloids are part of "pop culture" today. Geesh. Facts of Life

1. Most mother-in-laws dislike their son's girlfriends, fiances or wives. Even more so when they become exes.

2. What makes anybody think that Jen would be dumb enough to take Brad back if he suddenly decided he made a mistake. After all...he dismissed their relationship as nothing more than a period of personal growth. So now he's growing little Pitts.

3. Jolie has track record for growing bored with the men who "service" her and I have no doubt that eventually she will grow weary of this one as well.

So...given that neither Brad or Angelina have the foggiest notion of what is involved in a commited relationship...Mama Pitt should just sit back and watch the inevitable.
