Good riddance to this Neptuze-sized diva. Had low tolerance for this self-absorbing person and stupid babble. I remember years back when she was covering the OJ murder trial, Star was articulate, intelligent & so interesting -- she really stuck out & you listened when she spoke. Then she wasted her talent to become Ms. "D" Diva but America didn't buy into this, she was alone in her beliefs & we rolled our eyes. Hopefully she's G-O-N-E for good. Barbara, geez, it takes her two days to relay her story on The View; we're fast-moving Americans, gotta get the message out rapid-o or it's remote control time. And Rosie can be spooky, she's also turned into this vicious/mean-spirited person (especially behind the scenes). Joy is the one individual that has remained a constant in her life, she's real people.

YIPEEEEEEEE FOR STAR. Now she's on to better things. Barbara was annoyed because she felt embarassed. Good for STAR! Although there were many times when Star annoyed the heck out of me.. so did all the other ladies (including Meredith, who was my fav). Star is the one who should feel betrayed not Barbara.

I think Star handled herself very professionally. Come guys, if any of you were put in a position to know that you are the only one not getting your contract renewed and you have to show up and put on a face everyday..that would be very tough. Who are we kidding guys, Barbara is the boss and could have renewed her contract if she wanted to. She's the one the chose the oringal cast in the first place. Babs really showed her true self this morning. She is a BITCH! That was mean of her to come off and tell the audience all the behind the scences bullshit. How come Meredith gets a good send off but Star has to be disgraced. SCREW THAT SHIT.

Both Meredith and Star made the View what it is today. I will miss them both...and I can't see myself watching the view anymore.

I knew Star was leaving when Oprah, came on to promote her "Legends Ball". Oprah rarely does talk shows and that was the only one she did. She promised her friend to come on before she left the show..... Say what you want about all the freebees for her Wedding but all rich people get tons of free stuff - However Star should never have advertised it. How come no one is bitching about Donald Trump getting Melania's engagment ring for nearly pennies??

Oh yeah and Star is right.. the shows leading up to her wedding have been the View's highest rated programs ever..Even if you hate her book..she was on the best seller list. Some one please tell me Why is that when you get your life together and get healthy ( lose lots of weight ) people tend to not like you anymore? That is a bunch of bullshit. I've never heard of that kind of crap before. So she has her fairytale wedding and finds herself a husband and loses tons of weight and everybody's hating on her? It's called JEALOUSY. Star is the one who brought so many of the stars to show. Sure Barbara is powerful all but the show got more hip and modern because Star knows a lot of entertainers..they're her friends.

Anyhoo, Star is more powerful than you think.. maybe not has powerful as Barbara is in TV LAND, but did anyone see her Wedding Guest? It's a crazy amount of powerful people she knows and who truly like her..say what you want but most of the guests of View really felt comfortable with Star....

The View's ratings will fall even more.. not just because Meredith's gone, now Star's gone but also because Rosie is coming on? Pleassssssssee. Joy is going to have to fight for her jokes now..

Oh please! Baba Wawa needs to get her ego in check. This was about Star leaving, not about BW. She felt betrayed because she had no warning about the announcement? WTF? She knew for 2 months SJ was leaving. Why was Star telling the audience in her way and in her time a betrayal? I don't blame SJ for not wanting a FAKE day of celebrating Star. That would be hugely uncomfortable for anyone. I think the African-American community will stick by SJ. She seems only to piss off whitey, and I think she'll be just fine. Personally, I don't care about either of these 2, but I truly don't understand why everyone is up BW's ass, as though SJ murdered BW's puppy. Also, jeez, what freakin' celeb pays for anything? Were I forced to choose a side, I'd go with Star. The View/BW panties got wet because they got Rosie, so they forced out one of their own and then got pissed and mean when it hurt her feelings and seemed unfair. Haha! The View lost all sound for a couple of mins just now...and you thought Star had no powers!

No, Star was not professional. There was good reason for her to stay silent. Her flapping jaws just cost her dearly. When I was 9 I learned when to keep my mouth closed!!!. I was asked by my parents to keep quiet that our family was moving. The reason behind it was that my dad was in a high position, and was being kept, while the plant he worked at was being closed. Since many of my classmates parents worked with him, and would definately lose their jobs, his boss and subsequently he asked us to keep quiet for 3 months!!!!!! My friends had 2 wks notice that I was leaving, and we didn't tell a soul!!! There are reasons behind such secrecy and in media even more so. Shame on you Star, it was reckless, unprofessional, rude, and So YOU! And I am so for the Pine Sol lady.. now she I can watch for hours!!! Such Charisma~!!!

They say this was over wedding promotion. Star got preapproval of it beforehand. Star is the only person that had a real VIEW. I will NEVER watch the show again.

BW was unprofessional. Star was graceful, tactful, and had up to that point never said a negative word about that fat man Rosie O'Donnell.

I don't understand why every time someone doesn't like a black person's personality it's because he/she is black!!! Can't black people be disliked just as a white, asian, latin, etc. person be without it turning into a "black thing"????

Star was disliked because of her "I'm better than you" attitude. She disrespected her co-hosts by rolling her eyes or making a smart comment almost every day. I wouldn't want to work with someone like her.

It has been stated by Barbara Walters that ABC decided not to renew Star's contract because she has brought the ratings down because of her excessive talk about her wedding and weight loss. ABC wanted to get rid of Star last November. Barbara talked them into letting her stay longer because of the holidays and her new book. She should say Thank You to Barbara for talking ABC into letting her stay as long as they did. It had nothing to do with Rosie.

I am sorry to see Star leave so soonthough. I was so hoping to see Rosie put her in her place. ROFL
