so at a few points over the weekend i felt like i was going to jump out of my skin and then i realized why…everytime that damn taylor hicks FORD commercial comes on – i get anxious! it’s driving me insane – it feels like it is playing every five minutes – i don’t know if it’s airing in heavy rotation by you but they are playing it ALL the time here in so cal! i can’t even deal anymore – have a look below for yourself in case you haven’t seen it already…popbytes over & out for now…xxoo!

    now, i’m not a fan of AI nor did i watch this years contest, but i find him to be A) awful sounding and B) unattractive to look at. (have you seen that billboard on Pico near Fox?? Taylor’s got a gigantic head! i mean, small planets could orbit around that thing!) somebody please give that boy a dance lesson.
    i can’t really imagine him having a career in the same vein as Kelly Clarkson… or even Fantasia for that matter.
    and why is that Ford commercial cut so herky-jerky anyway???

    It’s so sad that people nowadays don’t know talent when they hear it. I suppose Nelly and Jay-Z are the “MOST TALENTED” men in the music industry. Didn’t your mother ever tell you, “If you can’t say something nice, shut your face!” And I like Nelly and Jay Z. I also like Tim McGraw. And I like AC/DC. If you’re a music lover, just love music. And as for the big head comment, I would like to see some other famous people without all the money to “fix” themselves. C’mon, if it wasn’t for people like Taylor, Ray, Stevie, Otis, we wouldn’t have rock, or R&B, or modern-day country, or rap for that matter. Just open your mind, man, appreciate good music. And I don’t mean just Taylor. If you think HE’S horrible to listen to, what the hell would you think of Ray Charles in his early years. And NO, they’re not so different. I wish more people would be more open minded about music. It’s like it’s turning into gangs. That’s all we need… If you feel the need to turn your rage on lesser musicians, take it out on Ashley Simpson or someone who really doesn’t have any talent. Leave people alone that have some talent with-out air-brushing.

    Can they play that Ford Commercial every 5 minutes? You know the one…with that big fat slob Taylor Hicks spining around (on the poor stage that looks like it might collapse at any second) singing “possibilities” It was bad enough that America voted Bush in a second term, but to make this old foggie American Idol? Come on?! This country is really going down the tubes! I can’t believe this guy won it – did someone check out his birth certificate? He looks like someones dad that took their kid to the audition and decided to sign up himself. I don’t mean to sound shallow, but isn’t a pop idol need to have some physical attraction? Maybe the geriatric wards think this guy is hot, but what’s wrong with the rest of ya?! I will be so glad when this guys 15 mins are up.

    Rod, first of all Taylor is drop dead gorgeous and very easy to listen to.Music has reached a new low but not at the hands of Taylor Hicks.He is attempting to bring good music back.People are ready for change,the proof being the number of votes he received.If you think thirty is old God help you when you get there.Most people are just becoming established in their thirties.And yes you do sound shallow and maybe a little bit envious.

    Taylor Fan, Do you need a pair of glasses? Taylor- gorgeous? With the next season of American Idol about to Premiere this week…Just as I predicted…that fat tubbolard Taylor Hicks is currently residing in the “Where Are They Now” file. He is a big fat blowhard and has no talent. You and your “Soul Patrol”…more like Troll Patrol…bunch of desprite women can think he is the next Michael McDonald, but as you can see……not even 8 month after winning AI…his career has stalled and went down the tubes. If age means something as far as talent, you would love kareokee night at some old folks home.
