britney and that darn interview!

hey hey! twas a long (very long) day – i made it back safe to hollywood after landing in a nasty bit of traffic from burbank airport – ugh! overall i had a great time – the how design conference had some great speakers and i met some really cool people – it’s always good to go and recharge your mind with others in a similar profession…but i have to go back to work tomorrow and i know i’ll still be beat…vegas just sucks your energy dry! i love it but could never live there – the novelty would wear off oh so quickly!



of course i was super excited to watch the britney spears interview over on dateline tonight – i don’t know how i felt about the whole thing – i really do like ms. spears…she is not a bad person or anything like that but for sure is not the sharpest tool in the shed! i thought she was kind of elusive on some questions – it seemed interviewer matt lauer had to keep rephrasing the questions and was really digging for her answers!



like on the whole driving with her baby on lap incident – she never admitted it was dangerous or a dumb thing to do (it was) and when asked to describe her son she clammed up – i think she could have at least said a little something on sean preston (like oh he laughs a lot) overall she was very general – what did y’all think? i still for sure question her defense of hubby kevin – it will be very interesting to see what ‘oops’ moments happen in the next few months and if the tabloids will give her even a little break? i highly doubt it – they will continue to be in full force…



anyways to send her a little good cheer the good folks over at AOL had a fun little feature where they asked bloggers to submit photos of apologies of sort…of course we all feel a little bad for her…below is a copy of my photo submission (taken in my hotel room yesterday) and make sure to stop over to see some other bloggers as well as ‘civilians’ offering up some ‘we are sorry britney’…i am bummed though that she wont be returning to the music studio anytime soon (no big surprise there) i wonder what the music climate will be like when she finally attempts to re-stage a fierce comeback…she has got plenty of time on her hands to figure out exactly what her sound will be…i still listen to her albums – who doesn’t love an occasional dose of hit me baby one more time or toxic…

    I never got to see the interview, dammit!!
    But from many descriptions I have gathered that it was just some PR. Make sure everyone thinks that Brit and K-Fuck are still together and everything is peachy! Yeah right, I don’t buy it for one minute.
    I do feel bad for her, she is not very smart and she just has a bullseye on her back, we don’t even have to wait impatiently for her to make her next stupid move!!
    I saw a video clip of her and SPF at the beach, she kept on picking him up by the hands and swinging him, so bad for young baby shoulders, elbows and wrists. Does’t she have people to tell her about these things? And that excuse that she is ‘country’, country doesn’t mean stupid and uninformed!!
    She really needs help, she needs a nanny in a big way, a trained, profesional nanny!!
    I still do love old Titney, I am bitching because I care!

    Article on Britney Spears right on target….I just cringed watching this. Instead of progressing w/age, she’s digressing. I highly recommend education or perhaps life coaching. Her appearance is horrid, she looks trampy. And that HAIR! Maybe Kevin spending all her money, so she has to do her own hair. Badly needed is a good cut & a professional coloring, looks as if she’s coloring her own. And she spends time cleaning house, geez. But most of all, get coached on how to speak in public, especially for a high-profile interview, just not good. She’s not having a meltdown w/papparrazi, really, her life is pitiful & this is why she’s falling apart. But she first has to acknowledge what has caused her to look the way she does & face that she’s truly not happy, so then she can take ownership of her crap & move forward. This is what happens when you rush into a marriage, especially to someone who has a pathetic background & no integrity. Then she doesn’t want to discuss baby, when she parades him all over the place. It was disturbing for me; I always count my blessings when I see someone so dumb, chomping on gum & just doesn’t get it.

    Brit has absolutely no etiquette. She was chomping on gum like a cow eating grass, her breasts were about to fall out and her jean skirt barely covered her butt when she sat down. Her make up looked horrendous like a child panted it and her hair was greasy and unbrushed.
    It amazed me how inarticulate and uneducated she really is. She was unable to complete an entire sentence. Matt kept ending her sentences and she would simply agree. She was also unable to follow the conversation. Matt was trying to ask her if all the attention about her being a bad mom had some validity because some of her actions were dangerous and she didn’t get it. She kept saying that’s America for you, and laughing saying accidents happen.
    She was unable to describe why she loved her husband, she said, ‘His heart, he’s a man’ and other things like that. It was just bad. She wouldn’t describe her son. All she had to say was he’s growing, he’s starting to walk & talk. Something simple but she couldn’t. She doesn’t know what type of music to make and couldn’t tell Matt what she listens to. She didn’t understand the negative connotation with ‘Redneck’. She said she thought it was horrible to place labels on people and then said ‘We’re Country’.
    The killer was when she said she’s creating a children’s clothing line because she loves money. It’s very sad that Britney was never able to mature and develop her own mind. She really is a pretty little thing with no talent. She should really read a book, or take some sort of a course. It angers me to see women who could empower other women but instead chose the easy, bimbo route. Someone should have been there to look after her. Her mind simply hasn’t developed ‘ she’s still a little girl.

    For those of you that missed the interview, it was truly a disaster. And I believe that after this, people won’t have respect for her cuz she’s totally ignorant, especially those people in the industry. Total dumb ass. When you hook up with a dumb ass, you become one (e.g. Whitney Houston). And another baby on the way…. Instead of spending $$ on Kevin, she needs to hire a group of professionals that will help her clean up her trashy image, work on educating her, some life coaching &, fer sure, practice public speaking (w/o chomping on gum). For her upcoming childrens’ clothing line, you can imagine how the press will add hoopla to that (on how NOT to do w/your own children Tshirts) & do you think people will buy clothing from this mother? She really needs to go into hiding, so that we’re not reminded of what a pitiful person she is & definitely not a role model for any young girl or woman!

    yep i do feel sorry for her; she did not deserve all the bad luck that she has right now. she really does need some guidance and direction. she needs someone who she will listen to to convience her she can be ok alone verses being w/ a complete looser! she will be much better off! best of everything to her i believe she is a sweet girl! thanks for the space, patty
