oh guess what? it is raining here – again! it so odd it was gorgeous yesterday for the oscars – it was like the heavens were just holding out until today to drop its wetness – i am still shocked about all the upset talk over ‘crash’ winning best picture – ok i too am gay & LOVED ‘brokeback mountain’ but i am not going to lose any sleep over it – i knew ‘crash’ would win so maybe i was just resigned to it – let’s just be happy that ang lee won for his amazing directing job and call it a day people!
lastly on the oscars i am just thrilled for phillip seymour hoffman winning best actor – i have been such a fan of his since ‘boogie nights’ which just happens to be in my all-time top ten movie list…he also rocked ‘magnolia’ too (yet another top ten film!) and i adored him in ‘happiness’ (hello – top ten!) – he totally deserved to win for his dead on portrayal of truman capote – so congrats to mr. hoffman – ok let’s just get right into my pop whatevers for this week…popbytes out for now – xxoo!
