hey kids - it's saturday! it's still very cold here in los angeles but the sun is shining...for now anyways...so tonight i was so super lucky to score a ticket to the goldfrapp show tonight at the wiltern down on western & wilshire - their 3rd & latest album supernature was just released in the US finally on march 7th - the album had been burning up the charts in the UK and other places - so now they are trying to make it big here which i am sure they can accomplish - this is their first big show in the US and will be performing down at SXSW in austin on march 16th - check out my post from august when i first discovered their latest album - i will for sure be writing up a review of tonight - i think it's going to be crazy fun! popbytes over & out for now...xxoo!
As GOLDFRAPP gear up for the March 7 U.S. release of their third album
SUPERNATURE (Mute)--hailed as 'the best pop album of 2005' by NME in
England where it entered the U.K. album chart at #2--the disc has been
certified platinum in the U.K. Now America is about to get a taste of
the band's pioneering electronics, crystalline vocals, visual theatrics
and dark-sex decadence when they make their 'Tonight Show with Jay Leno'
debut Monday, March 13. Look for GOLDFRAPP to unveil the album's
sizzling first single 'Ooh La La.' The song has been chosen as the
‘Single of the Week' by iTunes, which is offering it as a free download

All this excitement comes as GOLDFRAPP have landed the #1 track on

1.' The song will definitely be on the set list when GOLDFRAPP perform

Just saw them for the first time on LENO last night...LOVED THEM....I'm here in the states, but BF's are Brits(I saw them in London) so I listen to alot of BBC radio online at work over here....and have heard them that way...glad to see them get airplay over here.
