so we are finally down to the top twelve for american idol below is a picture from the party last night - it's a pretty decent group and now i can finally keep track of all their names - before it was too many people! that poor girl who left last night ayla - she was so upset - i did feel bad for her - next week should be good though as either a boy or a girl will head home leaving only 11 potential idols remaining and it will only be on two nights instead of the overkill of three - i think i really like chris daughtry (so hot!), mandisa & paris bennett the best so far - but it all comes down to song choice - time & time again - pick a good song and nail it! and stay away from people like - mariah, whitney, alicia & celine - the first girl who sings 'my heart will go on' should be shot! seriously!

anyways i am thrilled it is friday and tomorrow night i will be seeing super cool goldfrapp in concert over at the wiltern - i can't wait! i will check back in later tonight! popbytes over & out for now - xxoo!

Chris is my favorite and should win the whole thing. I worry that he wont b/c I dont think TPTB would be able to handle making a quality record for the type of music he sings. The idol people and record company like to put out sissy stuff and god, could you imagine chris watered down? Look what they did to poor Bo. His record is decent for what they gave him to work with, but they totally didn't let him do his thing. Also, I love bucky and I hate country usually..but the buckster and his country rock does something to my ears (and I'm not even being blinded by good looks or anything!) and oh my god, can you believe there are two of those guys? Taylor Hicks is my third pick..he is different and quirky and I love that. katherine is my favorite girl still. I am not into Pickle at all..the dumb innocent act got old after the first 30 seconds. Mandesa is smokin' but I hate to say this....just by looking at the history of the show, I think she may have the same fate as Frenchie, Jennifer Hudson, and the other "big" ladies. I'm not trying to be mean, I'm just saying there is a pattern on idol. Sorry for such a long comment. yikes.
