hey y'all! so i kinda swore off posting more about brokeback mountain - i posted a lot on it as it really is an excellent film - i just think i am just a bit over it all - although i really hope it wins the oscar for best picture - i really think it will...it totally deserves it - as does ang lee who i predict will grab the gold for best director...
so i was just remarking the other day that not a peep about the movie has been heard from oprah winfrey - i was kinda like what's up with that? she should at least recommend it - and then today i am surfing around and came across the below screenshots of an upcoming show...where oprah hosts the cast of 'brokeback' - this literally made my day!
i can't find any mention of the show on her website yet but i am sure it will be within the next few weeks - i really want to hear what oprah has to say...i am sure she will sing praises for the film & maybe help to open some ignorant eyes...as soon as i hear when it will be on - i will let you all know...we all know how much popbytes just adores oprah! i hope everyone is having a great weekend so far - popbytes over & out for now...xxoo

I have no desire in viewing BBM. I am sure it is a very well made film with fantastic perfomances from the cast. I am also confident that the story line is wonderful. My issue in not watching this is: "why"? Our society has become extreamley liberal and films such as this are giving a message that it is okay and that the homosexual lifestyle should be welcomed and accepted. What ever happened to the morals and Christian values in which our great nation was founded upon?
