a lazy so cal sunday

hey kids – popbytes so needed a break from everything – i went to the beach today – down near san diego at torrey pines state beach – i swear it’s the best beach in southern california – we even saw dolphins quite close to shore – but i’m so red – i did burn of course (yes mom – i did wear sunscreen but only 15spf – next time i promise to use 30) – but i’m a big boy and shall deal – however overall i feel re-energized, relaxed & ready for the pop week ahead – so what else is going down kids?


MTV music video awards 2005 – yeah i am gonna watch – MTV is not one of my favorites – due to many things – too long to get into (i used to work on their online properties – long live sonicnet.com) – but i am excited to see the performances – that’s really the only reason to watch anyways!


but fuck i hate r. kelly – gosh screw him – seriously i can’t stand him – i believe he can fly away and never bother us again – i can’t fucking stand him – fuck i’m watching the show – why waste ‘precious’ minutes on this ASSHOLE – can u believe this shit? :)


good night, and good luck – on wednesday i am going to an advance screening of the new george clooney movie (he directs & stars) – all about the 50′s & the communist witch hunt (HUAC) that took place right here in the USA – it was shot in black/white – i love b/w movies – and overall it does look stunning (my dear patricia clarkson also stars – along with robert downey jr) – plus what a fascinating time in american history – so i will fill you in on what i think when i see it…(it opens in theaters on oct 7th)


so sept is almost here – gosh this summer flew by – i am quite excited for some returning shows this fall (ie lost) – as well as some new ones (ie invasion) – it sure does look to be a busy month (plus i am seeing tori amos twice in concert! once in santa barbara & once here in LA) so rock on – just wanted to check in and say HELLO!…so HELLO & now goodbye – popbytes out for now…xxoo
