hey kids! oh the week is flying by - and the buzz of batman begins is almost everywhere at this point - and i do love batman so (and christian bale is so hot!) - so when this cartoon came across my pop plate i thought to share it with you - the batman is a new animated series on saturday mornings - and what sold me to post this to popbytes was the clip provided below - it looks sassy and fun - check it out - and just beneath there is some 'the batman' coloring pages for the kiddies! and actually we have been having a throw-back to our coloring days at the office - popbytes out for now!
Based on the famed DC Comics super hero and the most complex and
intriguing character in comic book history, The Batman is an innovative,
all-new take on the Dark Knight that melds the renowned character's
extraordinary physical prowess and super-sleuthing skills with a new
range of experimental Bat-gadgets and an amped-up Batmobile.
The Batman picks up his story in year three: in his mid-twenties, just
finding his way as protector, defender and Dark Knight, while balancing
his public persona as billionaire bachelor Bruce Wayne. Living in
Gotham, this younger Batman will confront updated takes of familiar foes
- from the likes of Joker, Penguin, Catwoman, Mr. Freeze, Riddler and
Man-Bat - meeting each member of his classic Rogue's Gallery for the
first time.
Accentuating the original take on the series, The Edge from multi-Grammy
Award-winning sensation U2 composed and performs the series' theme song.
