no worries popbytes returns to hollywood tomorrow after a great stint (albeit cold) on the east coast! and i actually got to see my gal dana! so great to see her! and here are her latest thoughts on the happenings with trump…its getting down to the wire!
well. i’ve been expecting the outcome from last night’s board room for a while now…and well, it finally happened. so, why am i not as fulfilled and content as i thought i’d be? i mean, ivana, the one competitor who seemed to contribute the least and yet continually slip under the radar, was finally fired. maybe it’s the fact that in the last few missions she’s really been the backbone to the creative process. i mean, if it weren’t for her at levi’s, the team would have never won for their inspirational jeans selector (contrary to what some assumed was jen’s doing). or how she helped her team develop the outstanding and winning packaging for pepsi’s edge. so, ivana, i’m sorry you were fired. when it comes down to it, you outlasted and outplayed some of your stronger competitors, but it was your time… i mean, from one business woman to another…who the hell thinks that “stripping” is a strong strategic solution for winning? let’s take coke and pepsi, for example. when pepsi is feeling as though coke is selling more product, they don’t offer free “happy endings” after each bottle. i mean, yeah…they’d gain a whole hell of a lot of male teen consumers and those men that live in the bottom of their momma’s basements while surfing the internet under the guise as a 15 year-old teen chick. |  |
okay, so hats off to ivana for giving it the ol’ college try…and what did we learn in last night’s episode: - Never strip for money (in the professional sense…i mean, on Wall Street…shit, you know what i mean). - Never defend yourself to the CEO of your business by saying “look”. so, we’re down to kelly, kevin, jen and sandy. i still think kelly will be in the final two, and possibly take it all the way…but now i’m thinking jen could very well make it to the final two as well. yes, she lacks personality. yes, she’s nothing more than a lawyer was a pretty face, and yes, she lacks any form of creativity…but so does trump’s fiance, all the more reason to keep her aboard! | |
