the weekend just FLIES by - it all goes too fast! caught up with 2 weeks worth of ALIAS and THE PRACTICE - both shows are in top form - especially ALIAS - and on THE PRACTICE we got a visit from lucy - filling in for tara - who got fired - because she told alan shore (james spader) he was fired - and now it looks like he is going after the firm - eugene needs to take a fucking chill pill - and i do love that jaime character (played by the daughter of kate capshaw - her name escapes me right now)...so anyways i got all caught up in my viewings!
lots of fallout from the ben appearance - smart smart move - and i forgot to mention - the opening skit involved a gay boston wedding (with boston characters by jimmy fallon and rachel dratch) where ben kissed seth meyers! and now ben has that new movie coming out - JERSEY GIRL - props to ben again for a truly enjoyable SNL.
tonight i got suckered into a new episode of FEAR FACTOR - you like never think to plan or intend to watch - you just end up watching somehow - its kinda eerie...so on on TV was that and on the other we are tivo'ing CRACKING UP - and FOREVER EDEN (oh my oh my who wil be eve to AZ's adam??) - and then for some really ODD reason im taping AVERAGE JOE: ADAM RETURNS - why - because there is like not that much else - i do give all reality shows a chance - but this looks like stretched out crap - and now get this...
NBC is combining with mark burnett - and SYLVESTER STALLONE for a new reality escapade THE CONTENDER - to see who can be like a better boxer for like a million dollars - ok I NEVER got the appeal of boxing - not one bit - except the cute shorts - but heck is it fun to see two people beat on each other - i think not - sorry if i offend any diehard boxing fans...i hope there is some angle or aspect that becomes compelling - because right now i dont see it at all - and OF COURSE i will have to give it a chance - but BOXING??? oh lordy! maybe this boy will turn out to be a boxing whore - and be ordering PPV specials left and right...
and finally a hot tidbit from a popbytes associate (this guy so gets me - i love it!) that britney spears was spotted down at hip and trendy (yes i have been there) store on melrose - shopping for an outfit for an upcoming video - and was hunting down my friend's friend to help ms. spears - and all this on rumors of britney nixing a 'suicide' shot from her new video for EVERYTIME - apparently the shot was of britney in a bath tub with a bottle of empty pills nearby - and if you dont know the song - this is her ballad of unreqiuted (sp?) apologies to justin (JUST listen to words folks) so check her out on IN THE ZONE - still selling in stores! and after this whole tidbit spilled out and shocked me - my friend and i both discovered our love for that new FOX show i just mentioned...WONDERFALLS - see logo below and click for the website!
