good evening! i was wondering all day long if my dear amy winehouse would actually manage to get her ass over to london’s hyde park to perform for nelson mandela at his 90th birthday celebration – lo & behold – ms. winehouse showed up and sang her smash hit rehab along with her smokin’ hot cover of the zutons’ valerie in front of over 40,000 people – and she looked pretty decent especially considering all of her recent issues (makeup can help anyone (even dead people) look alright if applied properly) right after the show she took her ass to a place called the london clinic where she’ll be getting some kind of rehab treatment (she even stopped to sign autographs (pictures below) for a few fans but then her friendly demeanor quickly disappeared – probably because she didn’t want to go inside…where there’s no drugs!) we all know girlfriend needs to seriously be put away for like three months (heck – let’s just make it six just to be on the safe side) but i doubt that’s going to happen anytime soon :( who knows what’s coming up next in the messy saga of amy winehouse – it’s totally ‘to be continued…’ popbytes over & out for tonight…xxoo
PS oh my gosh – today i got to interview jennifer hudson via a phone call – gosh it’s not everyday that an academy award winning actress calls my place! she was so very sweet – i’ll be getting the interview transcribed and i’ll post it up here on popbytes soon – please stay tuned (many thanks to all those who made it happen – you guys know who you are – and i love you!)
