Amanda Bynes’ hit and run case continues …

Amanda Bynes

In the space of a few months, Amanda Bynes has allegedly found herself in something like four hit-and-runs, as well as one instance where immediately after being charged with a DUI, she was seen leaving a bar by getting into her car, running over the curb, and driving away while texting. GENIUS. Anyway, her alleged hit-and-run case is being sent to prosecutors, and in case you’re asking: No, I don’t know which hit-and-run they’re talking about. It’s a toss-up at this point. TMZ reports …

Police believe there is enough evidence to charge Amanda Bynes with hit-and-run — after she allegedly rear-ended someone last week and fled the scene — and now, they’re passing the case to prosecutors … law enforcement sources tell TMZ.

According to sources, LAPD officers recently made contact with Bynes following the accident and spoke with her. After completing their investigation, we’re told cops believe there is adequate evidence she committed a hit-and-run. They will be kicking the case to the L.A. City Attorney for prosecution within the next week.

I know Amanda has been adamant that she’s not the new Lindsay Lohan — she is though, don’t get it twisted. — but honestly, that would probably work in her favor.

Judge: Ms. Bynes, you’ve been charged with getting drunk and trying to ram your car up a police officer’s ass. How do you plead?
Amanda: I’m actually Lindsay Lohan in disguise.
Judge: You’re free to go! Remember to pick up your free puppy in the gift shop on your way out!
